And Mint Cake Mews is perfectly placed… a 2 minute walk into Kendal and a 5 minute drive to the main arterial routes to Windermere, Keswick, etc. The property has been tastefully modernised throughout, the accommodation was comfortable, and easy to keep clean for dog owners. "We stayed in July 2024 as a group of 13 (age range was teenagers to adults) + 2 dogs. Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!"

"Lovely cottage very spacious, housed a family of six and dogs very well. There was nothing we needed for cooking and washing. Great washer and dryer. The bedrooms are very spacious and very cosy. Towels provided and beds all made when we arrived. Lovely little village and loads of walks around the place and plenty of places to drive to within a short distance. Only bugbear was the water heater and hot water, for the first day we had no hot water in the kitchen and en-suite, which rectified...
