Single Level Country Cottage, New Decor, Huge Yard w/ Farmland Views, 5 Min to Newberg

This picturesque country cottage is the perfect getaway to enjoy all the Willamette Valley has to offer. Sitting just four miles to downtown Newberg this home is nestled among farmland and pastures with a small creek just behind. The large oak tree out front offers plentiful shade during the warmest month and is a splendid sight large front porch relaxing to a favorite drink or meal.

Inside you will find a blend country chic with a focus on comfort and usability. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. There are three comfortable bedrooms equipped with a king bed in one, a queen, and two twins in the others which help provide for maximum group flexibility depending on each group. In addition to closets there are dressers available in each bedroom as well.

The living area is cozy and comfortable and comes equipped with a big screen TV with an integrated Roku for all your streaming desires. Please note you will need your own credentials for the various services you choose to use. Without a doubt when the weather cooperates you will enjoy sitting out front on the porch or in back on the Adirondack chairs. There is an enormous lawn area to enjoy throughout the year though in the summer there is limited watering so the grass will be dormant at times. There are active farms and pastures in most every direction so don't be surprised when you see some livestock, wildlife or any number of the other aspects of country life.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house.

While in the area there are so many things to see an do. There are hundreds of vineyards within miles. The Wings and Waves waterpark at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum is always a big hit. There are countless hikes, lakes, and places to explore throughout. Daytrips to the coast or downtown Portland are easy and convenient to do as well. It is hard to find a better location to enjoy your stay in the Pacific Northwest

Fabulous Gaibler Cottage
We were in town for a Sisters weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Cheryl and her husband were very kind, and made our stay easy. Newberg and the surrounding areas are so fun and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway!
What a lovely cottage in the most beautiful setting! Every detail inside was perfect and our family felt so at home. Property was very very clean and comfortable. Perfect size for three adults. Great location for visiting local wineries. Such a nice perk that it included several free wine tastings to various wineries! Owner lives across the street. She stopped by several evenings to visit. She had lots of local history to share along with area interest.

Truly a Home away from Home!
We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Gaibler Cottage is an absolutely charming property. The house is immaculate with every possible need covered. There is laundry soap, fully stocked kitchen, games, toys, books, baby bath and high chair, shower soap and shampoo, wonderful linens. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the front porch every morning. The Flower gardens were gorgeous. We were unexpectedly welcomed with a bouquet of fresh flowers, a handwritten note and a bottle of wine! We also enjoyed meeting the lovely owners. We will be back! Only suggestion I could make would be a full length mirror. Otherwise-perfection!

We had a great new years get together with our family. This house was very convient for us and what we had planned in north Willamete valley area. The heat in the house was very nice to come into after a cold hike, then be able to turn it down to sleep. Great front porch are to soak in the peacful rural contryside.

Easter with our sons
We chose this property because it was close to the schools where our sons attend college (George Fox University and Pacific University) and it provided a great space to host them and a few of their friends as we celebrated Easter. The property was very clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped for our purposes. We appreciated having a bit of space and peace and quiet with its location in the country. It was a great fit for our needs.

Beautiful Cottage
My family immensely enjoyed our experience at the cottage. The home was well appointed and beautifully decorated. We received a warm welcome with local wine, treats, and note from the owner. Everything was clean and comfortable. One of the owners came by during our stay to say hello and chat & then we met the other owner & chatted a bit when he came over to put out the trash cans. The location of the home is perfect - outside of town, but close enough for an easy drive into Newberg. The owner’s grandson’s cows roam the back property and provided some entertainment for the kids as well.

Home Away from Home
The Gaibler Cottage is an absolute gem. We were looking for a clean and safe environment for our family to stay while we were having work done to our home. Our children were so happy having such a cozy environment with lots of space to play outside. We all soaked in the beautiful, country views and the herd of cattle that would make their way around the perimeter of the cottage. What a rejuvenating and serene place this was! We got a chance to meet the owners, who are as lovely as their cottage: warm and inviting. We're so grateful to them for caring deeply about the people that stay at their cottage; it really shows in the details of their home and the resources they provide for local adventures. We couldn't have asked for a better situation and will be recommending the cottage to any of our friends and family that come to visit Oregon. The cherry on top for us was the ease and attentiveness we experienced communicating with the iTripNW service team. They were so excellent that we'll be booking with them directly in the future.

Second Stay--Love it
This was our second stay at the Gaibler Cottage. Love being out in the country instead of in town. Indoors was warm and cozy for our new granddaughter, and the covered porch made BBQing easy despite the fact it rained every day we were there. Reserving the cottage through iTrip couldn't have been easier, and both they and the owners kept in contact to make sure everything was going fine. We look forward to returning!

Gaibler Country Cottage is Simply Charming
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gaibler Country Cottage. The cottage itself was very comfortable and decorated for Fall. It was an easy drive into Newberg and our favorite wineries. We look forward to staying there again.
