"This hotel is a true gem! We were fortunate enough to enjoy this property at the end of October when the weather was uncharacteristically warm. The pool was warm and wonderful. The owners of the hotel have thought of every detail from the wonderful staff, delicious included breakfast that exceeded our expectations, and fresh cookies left out every night. The decor is perfect coastal New England. Each floor has a water station, communal microwave, and ice available in the hallway. Be sure to check out the views from the roof deck. They're dreamy. Be sure to walk the trails near Scarborough Beach. I also recommend visiting the upstairs at George's for sunset. That's where the sunset view is, not on Narragansett Beach. The hotel is a short drive to the busier downtown area. We loved it! My only complaint is the lighting in the rooms & bathrooms. It made it difficult to put on makeup(and I don't wear much). If that's important to you bring a mirror. Also the room has a mini ironing board. A full size would be great or even better a steamer! Besides that it's a 10 out of 10. Just book it!!!"
