"We loved the location of this house. Beautiful lake and view. Lots of extras in the house like shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lots of dishes, utensils, laundry soap, lots of towels etc. Only disappointment was we were all looking forward to the hot tub, it was the main selling point of our choosing this house, and it was out of order😩.We talked to the host, very nice man, very helpful, was trying to get it to work, but it didn’t happen! "

"Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe."

"Great, cozy, comfortable, light-filled cottage for two on St Margarets Bay, with view of water from large deck. Close to beaches, South Shore, Peggy's Cove and Halifax area. The village of Hubbards has grocery, cafes, pharmacy, NSLC, bike trails and great Farmers Market."

"Claire & Steve’s Cottage was very COMFORTABLE & CHARMING! Our family visited Nova Scotia for the North American Indigenous games (NAIG 2023) and needed a place central for three families, large enough to accommodate 10 people & close enough to Halifax for the games. It was a beautiful location with many amenities within the home and close by. The space itself was clean, bright, comfortable & eco-conscious. The bedrooms were comfy & spacious, more than enough towels and a washer & dryer to do...

"This is an incredibly beautiful place to stay. It is meticulously clean and charmingly decorated. Everything you could want is included in the kitchen and bath. The bed is really comfortable, good blinds darken the room for sleeping, and it includes places to put your suitcases out of sight. Pam is so warm and friendly. I just can't say enough good things!! Can't wait to visit again. Jennifer"
