Located in Algiers, less than 1/2 miles from the ferry and 6 miles from the French Quarter and the heart of downtown. This newly renovated, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is the perfect location from which to explore all that New Orleans has to offer while also being a quiet retreat. Great for families and group of up to 7.

Sliver by the River
We really enjoyed the house. It was clean, well kept and had everything we needed for our stay. The only drawback was the front bedroom(red bed from pics), as the bed was quite short length wise and we’re tall people. Besides that, we really enjoyed it and was very close to our location for our events. Thank you so much for such a lovely place and we will keep this location in mind and for others if we make another trip to New Orleans.

Very nice property and loved the decor in the home. This property is well loved.
All the amenities you could want inside the house. Close enough to downtown that it is easy to get there. Far enough away that the noise of the downtown area and French waiter won’t bother.

My family and I LOVED this place!!! It was neat, clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for the week. The kitchen had all the basics: pots, pans, utensils, even some basic food items. We grabbed a few groceries in town and were able to save on a few meals. The washer and dryer were a godsend! The central air was important for us; we’re from Minnesota and couldn’t handle the heat and humidity, so it was nice to have that relief at the end of the day. The kids had access to Netflix and Wi-Fi so they were never bored. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the porch and talking with the neighbors. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with a bigger group - there were six of us and we all had plenty of room; I would even rent here again.

Amazing property
On arrival the property was very clean inside and out. It smelled amazing! The orange provides more than I would’ve expected. Toiletries, soaps, snacks, coffee, all cooking utensils, laundry detergent etc… my family was very comfortable and the house was very welcoming. This property sits in an older neighborhood and is one of the few that has remodeled and done very well with upgraded appointments. The Hosts / Property Owners are easy to work with and very accommodating.

Fantastic property!
This was a beautiful home very nicely decorated to give you the New Orleans vibe. It was nicely stacked with almost everything you might need. The bottled waters and coffee were a nice touch. Beds were very Comfortable. Overall a very nice place to stay. The only negative thing is that traffic into the center of the city was terrible during work hours. But it was easily accessible by ferry. We will definitely stay here again.

House was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. House has all the toiletries that you need. No complaints what do ever about the house. It is about 30 mins to most popular places. The neighborhood is okay a little bit of violence, but we did not feel unsafe. I would definitely rent again.

The Sliver has all the amenities any reasonable person could ask for. It was a the perfect amount of space for our group of four guys. Only about a 15 minute walk to the ferry through a friendly neighborhood. We didn't see our host Bernard, but he always responded in a timely and friendly manner via phone and email. All at an affordable price.

Convenient location to French Quarter
My family loved the house! It perfectly slept the 6 of us and we loved all of the personal touches in the house. The location was great and we felt safe. The ferry was convenient to take to get to the French quarter instead of paying for parking there. Overall, great place and we would go back!
