Great location
We were in town for a trade show. Apartment was very clean, and in a great location. Within walking distance to convention center, casino, French Quarter. We flew in to New Orleans, so we took an Uber for places we wanted to go farther out. If I were returning to New Orleans, I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Property
We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. The property was better than the pictures and that never happens. It was very clean, updated, beds were very comfortable and location was perfect. We were within walking distance to the convention center, the french quarter, casino. All of the basic items necessary were provided (trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, etc.). The host was very responsible throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfection...again!
This is the second time we have stayed in the Refinery, which means our expectations were exceedingly high. We were blessed to have them met. The first time was an all adults girl trip and this time was two moms and their teenage daughters. Both times, everyone was very pleased with the location. There is enough space for everyone to have their "own" space if it is needed. The large balcony was inviting for conversation and for early morning (sun gets a little hot after 9:30) coffee or a night-cap. The decor was stunning. The provided selection of coffee, water, gatorade, and best chips ever was excellent as we were thirsty when we arrived. The personalized welcoming note was a nice touch as well. Everything is within walking distance. Frenchman Street area is a bit of a walk, but that makes sense as it is the beginning of Marigny neighborhood, but everything else is truly within walking distance or a trolly-ride away. Traditional Food (New Orleans food): Muffulettas at Central Grocery and Deli Beignets at Cafe Du Monde Dunbar’s Creole Cuisine (Garden District/Uptown) Galatoire's (dress-code) Non-Traditional, but definitely worthy of a visit. Slyvain Red Dog (Garden District) Interesting and worthy of a visit: Vampire Cafe Go to the museums, art galleries, walk the streets, listen to the music, eat the food, see the river, then return to a divine location. Live! “In New Orleans, culture doesn’t come down from on high, it bubbles up from the streets.” — Ellis Marsalis “I’ve been all over the world. I love New York, I love Paris, San Francisco, so many places. But there’s no place like New Orleans. It’s got the best food. It’s got the best music. It’s got the best people. It’s got the most fun stuff to do.” — Harry Connick Jr.

Amazing Condo
Overall our stay at the The Refinery was Amazing, although we paid for parking at a nearby lot, we were consistently able to park on the street. The location was perfect and close to most activities. The building, condo and decor was gorgeous. We absolutely loved the balcony and the ability to look out on the street. The only negative is that there were no hangers and the water did not stay hot for long, only one person out of 4 could really take a hot shower. We had a BLAST here and would definitely book again.

My stay was amazing, it looked exactly like the pictures. The building was walking distance from the mall and the French quarter. Plus the staff was incredibly accommodating. We were able to drop our bags off early and we even got some great happy hour recommendations.

So nice! Parking may be an issue for families with little ones
This stay was wonderful! It is almost a hybrid of a hotel and a home stay. We traveled with a toddler and baby and they set up a full crib for us. We were able to fit a pack and play in the guest bedroom. There is a tub for bath time and the towels and complimentary toiletries are nice. There is street parking, garage or valet for about $28-40/day, but not everything allows in and out access. That might be an issue if you’d like to go out to see things outside of walking distance. We had a lot of things to unload and there isn’t direct parking for the building so it might be difficult to get all of your things and babies if you don’t valet. Street parking is free after 7pm on weekends. There is a luggage cart to use. We felt mostly safe walking everywhere from this neighborhood. We were able to get our double stroller through all of the doors/elevator. I would recommend a jogging stroller for these streets. The street is LOUD from the apt(people cruise the street with blaring music), but it mostly wasn’t an issue as the bedrooms are away from the street and we brought sound machines for the babies. I think the rooms provide this as well. The kitchen is great and has a Keurig with complimentary pods. We were able to fit a portable high chair at the bar. There was enough room for our little ones to play. It just feels cool and fun! Two Chicks cafe was good and close for breakfast and they were sweet to our kids. We took the double stroller to the WWII museum although you can’t really physically distance from others there. Jackson Square is closed, but you can see in. St. Louis Cathedral is beautiful inside! Cemeteries such as St Louis #1 and Lafayette are closed, but we drove to Metairie Cemetery and was able to drive in, which was beautiful! Frenchmen Street was very quiet so I would instead go to the garden district for a ride. Our little ones loved the streetcar! The Julia St has a streetcar stop. This apartment is close to the Aquarium and the Audubon and the paddle boats. Cafe du Monde and Brennan’s were great. I would avoid the West side of Canal St between Bourbon and Magazine street. Decatur Street is really beautiful. We drove to City Park to see the 800 year old McDonough oak and there is a playground with friendly ducks. We liked this place and would recommend it for families! Myra was great!

Clean & fancy
Disclaimer: We ended up being rebooked at this location when our original rental claimed we cancelled (which we did not). We enjoyed our stay here, it is very well appointed, everything is new and sleek. Myra was extremely accommodating and helpful, we so appreciated her kindness. The location is great for being near the CBD, but we were there for parades and had originally booked in the Lower Garden District, so we ended up paying hundreds to UBER/LYFT back and forth. The building is lovely, secure, well stocked and comfortable. It is rather loud, it sounded like there was a horse living in the unit above us. There are many great restaurants and shops nearby, and a lovely deck to enjoy. / If you are looking for something in the Warehouse district, check this place out, you won't be disappointed.
