New Orleans Area Private 4BR waterfront home! Swim Boat Grill !!!!!

Sea La Vie is located in Slidell a Suburb of New Orleans. It is located 27 miles from the French Quarter and is an easy drive on I-10. The home is a three bedroom home with two large bedrooms and a loft bedroom for kids only. The home has been completely renovated in 2017 and everything in it is new. There is huge 100' dock with deep water access via boat. Bring your boat and kids and swim, ski, fish and boat in Lake Pontchartrain. The lake is a 3 minute boat ride from the dock. There is a large deck that has seating for eight and extra chairs for overflow. The home is 5 minutes from some of the best fishing in the country. You can even fish right off the dock in the front yard. There is phenomenal fishing in the Rigolets nearby with incredible salt water fishing and access to fresh water fishing within 20 minutes by boat.

You can play in the water or on the boat all day and hit the French Quarter at night for great fun and partying like no where else. You can catch an Uber, Taxi or drive. Great from two couples or a family. There is a sleeper sofa for over flow sleeping in the living room. The home has a nicely stocked kitchen with all new appliances. There is a double oven and large stove. The home has a large working fireplace and large dining room with a table that expands to seat 12. Great for family get together and large meals.

The home has 2 king beds, 1 queen/full bed in the upstairs loft, a bunk room with 1 full and 2 twins plus a queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps 8 adults and 3 children. The upstairs bedroom is a loft space.

No pets allowed
We will allow one certified service dog with a $250 non refundable carpet cleaning fee. Multiple service dogs are not allowed.

Great experience at this location. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful setting off the back porch. Great furnishings throughout the property. Beds and bedding were comfortable, and ample pillows! We would pick this again.

Everything was great except that the jacuzzi tub has some issues that made it unable to be used which was disappointing since it was one of the reasons we chose the house.

5 star property in a 2 star neighborhood
We adored this property! Was clean, spacious and well stocked with towels and cookware. You can fish off the dock and lounge on the deck. 2 stars for the neighborhood as it is crawling with suspicious neighbors that are fighting to keep rentals out. Thumbs up to the owner who didn't just brush it off when we informed her that a photo of my family was not only taken by one of the neighbors but was also posted on the social media platform called NEXTDOOR where neighbors miscontrused the photo and made false claims and comments about our family. Beware because you too might end up with your photo taken, posted, and misconstrued on a social media site by one of the neighbors as well.

Great rental!
We had a great time here! Lovely location and easy to get out to NOLA and surrounding areas. We loved that it is on the water. Our kids had a fun time fishing on the dock. House was clean, neat and organized. Loved all the bedrooms and space we had. We were a family of 8 so we did run into needing more TP and a dustpan for sweeping up messes would have been nice too. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had. Very much appreciated the quick and helpful communication. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the NOLA area.

Happy Hotel Alternative
it was a much, much better alternative than staying at a local hotel. We would have rated a 5 except for some small details (e.g. no salt/pepper, no tea kettle, no oven mitts, no tissues, no bar soap, no pizza pan, no spare batteries for the tv remote). We arrived and immediately made a trip to the grocery store to get these things. There was no full length mirror and the shower door would not stay closed. A door code instead of a key would have been nice. These small yet fixable details matter. It was fun to watch the fish jumping. The interior space was super. The house was clean and bright. It worked out great for our family!

street lights come in the 3rd floor windows and shine around the room making it hard to sleep! some kind of coverings would be good! also, the upstairs room is not meant for anyone tall…it might be good to mention this ahead of time. I had to watch out that my head didn’t hit the ceiling and I’m only 5’5”!

From the moment we walked in we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. The cleaners had just left and there is nothing better than a fresh smelling home! I have allergies and you wouldn't have known by how clean it was. The moment you walk in you see the beautiful sights of the canal. Its simply gorgeous especially walking up in the morning and seeing it from your very spacious master bedroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay. There were 5 of us and we had more than plenty of space. Hope to be back!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay in Eden Isles. The home was spacious, kitchen will stocked, soft towels, extra linens, and wonderful patio. Some areas of the home could use cosmetic work, especially patio doors as they do not function properly, but over all this home was perfect. We especially loved sitting out on the patio, enjoying the water and watching the pelicans fish in the morning.

Superlative Property
I stay in a lot of vacation rentals. A LOT! This waterfront home in Eden Isle was just an exceptional property. It hit all the buttons that make me happy. Clean... REALLY clean. I hate staying in homes that I feel I have to bring up to my standard of required cleanliness. I didn't have to lift a finger here. Location, location, location. Nice quiet neighborhood. Quiet but friendly enough neighbors on either side. After a day of crazy in NOLA, returning to this quiet home is just what you need. Easy drive to and from downtown NOLA. Short distance to a lovely Wynn Dixie Grocery Store that has an upscale level of groceries and such available. Right next to the WalMart if you don't mind standing in the longest lines on the face of the earth. I chose the Wynn Dixie. BEDS to die for. I like a comfortable bed and these were a bases loaded, home run. Nice sheets and towels and plenty of both. Fabulous kitchen with appliances in great repair and good quality flatware, pots and pans and dishes. Loved the deck, the dock, the fishing, the grill on which we cooked our catch. If I had to find something noodley to comment on it would be to include a channel guide for the T.V. Wow.... that's my only suggested improvement. Lovely home that I plan to return to. Great price too. I could have paid twice as much for a hotel room the size of a postage stamp. NO THANKS. It's homes like this that keep me using VRBO everywhere I travel. Book it. You will not be sorry.
