Perfect in New Orleans
Really happy to have found this property for our short introduction to NOLA and we will definitely seek this one out on our next return. We wanted a residence with a historical vibe, and this home fit the bill. It's less than a three block walk to the streetcar going downtown, and a short drive to magazine Street / Garden Addition for some nice restaurant choices and shopping. Perfection will return when the city finally finishes all of the neighborhood road construction, but we found that to be a minor inconvenience. Thank you Lori and John! a short drive to magazine Street

Overall, a very good stay the accommodations were great. The only downside is the roadwork around there made it very challenging to get into the house.

The property was larger than expected, owners were very friendly and responsive. There is quite a bit of road construction around the property, but once you figure out the one way, it’s not bad. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery, and street car.

Great stay
This house had the original ofrench quarter feel and was very well stocked and ready for us. The only drawback was trying to get to the actual address because of all the one ways and horrible road construction. Once all the construction is done in the neighborhood this will be a top rated place in my opinion.

Perfect little get away
We went to New Orleans for a little get away with my daughters to see the zoo and aquarium. This was the cutest place. Very clean and comfortable. My girls really enjoyed the pool and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. They really made you feel welcomed like family -True Southern Hospitality!!! Such sweet people. Only bad thing was the construction in neighborhood but seemed to have a good bit of that all over New Orleans right now. We will totally be back!! THANK YA'LL FOR EVERYTHING!!!! God Bless

New Orleans Getaway
This trip was for mine and my wife’s birthday. We went with another couple that had never been to New Orleans. The house itself was nice and clean. Where it was lacking is the communication with the host. I asked when I booked if there was space for two vehicles and the response was there was a 1 car driveway and space to park on the street. The day of our trip she sent a message saying that there was construction on her street and that we would have to go the wrong way down the street to get there. Ok, fair enough. What she failed to tell us is that all the concrete had been ripped up throughout the ENTIRE neighborhood! The road was so torn up that someone in a sedan could not drive down the street. When the host saw the other couple arrive her response was “Good! You brought a truck. I was afraid you couldn’t get here”. So if you’re going there have her send pictures of the street first. I would not trust her based on the half truths we were given. Very disappointed for the price paid.

Wonderful NOLA stay
The townhouse was perfect for us as we celebrated our daughter’s graduation from Tulane. It’s more like you are staying in someone’s well-appointed home. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean and well-decorated, and wonderful to be able to sit outside and hang out as well. We loved it and will stay there again.parking just outside the front door was an added benefit and Lori was so responsive and nice when we got to meet her!

Great Host, Good Location
We enjoyed our stay in this unit. It is on a quiet street, really close to a park and the walk to the streetcar is super quick and easy. Lori responded quickly to the only issue we had, which was remote batteries. This was the best appointed VRBO we have stayed in.. plenty of towels, nice sheets, comfortable beds... just zero complaints. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic!
Loved our stay in New Orleans! This property was clean and comfortable with plenty of room and nice amenities. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the private backyard was a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The host was quick to respond to all questions. The location was great-a couple blocks to the trolley stop, some fun restaurants within walking distance and we felt very safe in this neighborhood. I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay at this property again!

Historic and close to the action
It was a little challenging getting to the home with the construction, narrow and beaten roads and cars parked in the street but it’s what you should expect from a historic district. The house was very clean and definitely felt like you were in New Orleans. The beds were comfortable but not many of the plugs worked so my wife and I had to share a plug to charge our devices in the bedroom. This house has 2 restrooms and so we planned to use a restroom for each couple, however the restroom upstairs only had a bath tub and the shower option did not work so we all ended up having to share the newly remodeled shower downstairs. The stairs were a little steep, but we didn’t have any issues. With that said, this house would not be good for folks with physical impairments. All in all the house served its purpose and it was close to the Streetcar to take us to all the action. Thank you Lori for sharing your home.

Family stay
We really enjoyed the property. It was a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The property was clean and very inviting. The decor was definitely New Orleans style. You can tell it was a older home that was well updated from the character in the fireplace floors and windows. This property was about 15-20 to the French Quarter, but there was also a Street Car if you wanted to see the scenery, I would suggest maybe renting a vehicle I believe it would’ve been more economical.! The stairs were not for the faint. If you have children, you may want to consider this because they were very steep and both bed rooms were upstairs. The main bedroom is very nice. The bed was comfortable but need a firm mattress, we kept feeling like we were rolling to the middle. My only suggestions would be a little bit more silverware, napkins, and shades in the dinning area for privacy.
