Perfect location to walk to Bourbon Street and through French Quarter. We only was there to sleep. Bring own towels and pillows/blankets if you prefer, but there are all of those there. Parked right out front for free. Cool neighborhood, great people. It’s older but updated, Better than a hotel, you actually feel like you live here in New Orleans.

The property itself is nice, except when there is someone also staying in the room next door you can hear them loud and clear and most annoying, each step they took the planks on the floor where we were moved along with them , so sleeping was not possible b cause they were very noisy and they just walked all around till 2.30 am. The floor needs to be redone the wood is connected to the other room.. Also the walk is about 15 minutes to the French quarter. The neighbourhood is not the best , especially at night. The good thing is the price , and the room inside is nice, if there is no one next door.
I stayed over Thanksgiving and never had to move my car. It was street parking. I walked to Bourbon Street every day it took about 15 minutes to walk. The space felt safe, it was everything I needed and I think it was a great price point

I really enjoyed staying here 😊 It’s a great location near the French Quarter!
The entrance to the room was located at the back of the house, accessible via a staircase that appeared to require some reinforcement. However, the room itself was cozy and inviting. During the day, we watched neighborhood children riding their bikes and playing in the streets, while neighbors cleaned outside their homes. I felt safe in the neighborhood, and we enjoyed walks to the French Market and along Bourbon Street both during the day and at midnight, without any fear. We Uber to locations areas, with our highest fare being just 10. Gaining access to the room and securing it was effortless. The check-in process was straightforward; upon our arrival, we received a message through the app with clear instructions on accessing the room.

Good location for easy walk to Frenchman. Very basic amenities but good value for the price
This little duplex was so cute. It was like all of new Orleans, an old house with charm! Not sure what other people were complaining about that the house was old... You're staying in New Orleans! The neighborhood isn't GREAT but the people are nice. It's about a 10 min walk from bourbon but right around the corner to Frenchmen. The bed albeit was a little broken on the legs but it was comfortable. Clean linens. We didn't use any of the dishware but there is a small coffee maker (bring your own coffee), there's a fridge, and the shower was hot and stayed hot. What more do you need? If you're not planning on staying a lot of time in the room this is a perfect place to stay. Free street parking, which is a plus because you have to pay EVERYWHERE you stay closer to bourbon St. Would stay here again.
Good little apartment not far from all things NOLA. Nothing special, but fine to stay in if you just need a place to crash.

Host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Did not spend too much time in it other than to mostly shower and sleep, but would book again.
The bed was extremely comfortable. The fans kept the temperature nice. Great kitchen area. Layout is a little weird with the bed by the door. Kept waking up from walking neighbors upstairs.
Very close to trolley line. Great variety of little restaurants within a short walk. Less than 10 minute car ride, right into Canal Street area.
Spot is great for a couple. It's definitely a little older and worn in style, but that's old school New Orleans!!

The place was mostly clean. Our stay was for 2 nights, we only had 1 face towel and 1 bath towel, no paper towels, 1 roll of tissue, and no night stand. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. The back yard looked scary and the neighbor hood looked sketchy. The floors felt like we were going to fall through. This is for a bachelor only planning to sleep here only!
Like all the other reviews state, this place could use maintenance and a deep clean. Everything we touched was clean, the bathroom, shower, kitchen, sheets etc. It's a cute place in an old house. I love old historic houses. A few nights were pretty cold out and the heater had a tough time keeping up, so it was a bit cold inside. The place is with in walking distance of a grocery store, restaurants and the French quarter isn't a far walk away either. For the price I think is was a good value.
Overall the property was decent. There are a few minor things that need to be touched up in the home. However, I believe the quality was fairly good for the listing price. Great place to be if you need a place near Bourbon but have a tight budget!

New Orleans can be a scary place. Our stay was great for the most part. The host and the apartment itself were great. On our last night around 1am there were gunshots fired right outside and it was a terrifying experience. We are okay and we’re able to get to a safer location for the rest of the night. Please be careful when you visit New Orleans and choose to stay were you feel most comfortable. I do think for safety that the bed in the condo should be moved to the central living space away from the front door of the apartment.
Simple, no frills but a decent kitchen set up. Hit a grocery store and you can do well here.
It's an older typical "shotgun" house. Weather was not unseasonably, just COLD. House not equipped with adequate heating unfortunately. Window Air Conditioning probably struggles to keep up in summer. Location is perfect for my needs, walking distance to NOLA Jazz Museum & cooking classes. Used RTA bus to & from airport. No hassle with transportation. Would stay again, just be prepared for climate

Decent stay close to everything!
Problem was the water was cold . He never mentioned it was a reverse water unit. The mattress for blow up bed and Bed were filthy. Had to buy more sheets even though i came with some already. Other than that. Everything else was wonderful!

The condo was clean and spacious with a nice view of the area. There were plenty of towels and basic supplies. The bed was uncomfortable due to not having a box spring and the flat pillows need to be replaced. The property was within walking distance to the French Quarter and Bourbon St. There were numerous options for dining and shopping in the area and we generally felt safe walking after dark. Property management resolved a couple issues quickly and to our satisfaction. While the game room is pictured on VRBO, we did not have a key card to access it. In general we were happy with our accommodations and would stay here again.

Our experience
We arrived at the property early and we’re allowed to store bags there. That was a great relief. Our first night was just fine. Our second night was an absolute disaster as the unit wound up infested with swarms of flying ants which we think were termites. Not just a few either! They were all over the sinks and our bed and the curtains and chairs and dining table. We were able to find a room at Holiday Inn Express. It took us a while to unwind after making this move.
The good: The apartment itself is mostly fine. The neighborhood is funky.
The bad: (1) Getting check-in instructions out of the host was like pulling teeth. It was 2 hours before scheduled check-in that I finally got check-in instructions, and only after contacting VRBO customer service. (2) Loud upstairs neighbors, but that could be a VRBO too—who knows? (3) Ran out of hot water 5 minutes into my shower. (4) Despite the description in the listing, there is no washer or dryer—or they’re *very* well hidden. (5) Speaking of the property description, the *is* a deadbolt, but it’s on the back door; there is no deadbolt on the front door. (6) The chimney in the middle of the apartment seems to be in some state of collapse.
I (F/33), came down alone over Christmas Weekend. I was kind of anxious to travel alone, but I felt totally safe and comfortable here.
Its important to note that this is not a luxury hotel. If that's what you're looking for this is probably not for you.
Its a super old house - the floors look to be original, so they are old and creaky. The fireplace is a little crumbly, but absolutely beautiful. The front door sticks just a little, especially when it rains.
But these are all things that gave the place charm and character and I absolutely adored my time there.
The bed was comfy, the hot water worked (even if it was a little finicky at first) and there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. None of which I really used as i ate out most of the time but they were there!
My only "complaint" is it isnt SUPER easy to get to the quarter. Its not far as the crow flies, but I am a country girl so city blocks and bus schedules confuse me lol but it wasn’t bad and I would absolutely stay again!
