ENJOY A QUIET GETAWAY AT MOUNTAIN VIEW CABIN RENTALS

Mountain View Cabin Rentals is located on 13 acres that joins the George Washington National Forrest. Our newly finished cabin is conventiently located in the middle of several popular attractions which are: Luray Caverns, Luray Caverns Country Club, Cooters, Luray Zoo, Shenandoah River, Endless Caverns, Shenvalee Golf Resort, New Market Battlefield.
Mountain View has many hiking trials around the property, stocked fishing pond, charcoal grill, and a firepit to enjoy as well, We also offer dish network, electric fireplace, 50 inch flat screen TV in family room. Each bedroom has a queen size bed along with 36 inch flat screen TV with DVD players. We offer a fully equipped kitchen. Queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping room.

Amazing Cabin
The cabin was perfect. The host was great. The location and area are always great. Super quiet. Loved everything. Dans Steakhouse and Southern Kitchen have great food and are local. SNP is a short drive and is beautiful as always. We highly recommend this cabin.

Great cabin!
The cabin is cozy and well designed. Loved walking around the property. The sounds of the woods are fantastic. Spent a good bit of time on the front porch in the swing and rocking chairs. Very easy to get to but it still feels remote.

Idyllic Cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this perfectly appointed cabin. The fireplace and hot tub were our nightly staples punctuated by star-gazing and the occasional shooting star. Our hosts were prompt with responses and thoughtful with the inclusion of smores. It was a perfect getaway.

Virginia Cabin
Stayed in a lovely cabin/home/camp for the holiday weekend with family. It was a nice getaway place and yet close to all we wanted to do. If you want to do some of the Skyline, Luray Caverns or travel farther to the Zoo, this is a great place to hang out. Warm, decorated beautifully for the season and comfortable. The sunsets were amazing to watch from the porch. My granddaughter loved the porch swing, one grandson the pond and the oldest the DVR movies. The fisherman hooked a large (plastic) sunken duck and brought him to the surface to float again. A great spot to stay.

Absolutely beautiful cabin in a tranquil location
My husband and I and our two dogs stayed in this amazing cabin for a long weekend. The cabin is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The towels are nicer than some hotels we’ve stayed in! The furniture is comfortable. It is fully stocked with everything you need. The location is great, very quiet and isolated yet a short drive to various attractions and about 25 minutes from Harrisonburg. The owner Keith is so incredibly nice and very helpful- always quick to respond to a text or call if you have any questions. The owners leave a bottle of wine and ingredients to make s’mores on the kitchen table waiting for you on arrival. (Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the s’mores but the gesture was very appreciated!) We would definitely stay at this property again!

Best Location!
The cabin was very clean and had all the important stuff. The location is perfect and it was easy to get to things in Luray and New Market. We were disappointed to learn upon arrival that the hot tub was broken. That was one of the features that led us to selecting this property, especially since our neighborhood pool has been closed all summer. We thought it might be fixed while we were there and that we'd get a little time in it, but that didn't work out. Also the toilet tank in the half bath started leaking and we opted to not use it, so we were down to one toilet for a family of four. A little challenging, but there are worse things that could happen. There's a second cabin on the property under construction and we were very appreciative that no construction occurred during our stay. All in all we enjoyed ourselves in spite of the hot tub and toilet situations. I got the sense that the owners are conscientious and will get those things taken care of as soon as possible.

Perfect Cabin Getaway!
My partner and I had the most wonderful weekend at this charming cabin! It was impeccably clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were especially delighted to find a s’mores station all set up and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge—such a thoughtful touch! The attention to detail made our stay extra special. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this gem for a cozy getaway!

Great stay close to Luray and Shenandoah NP entrance. Cabin had everything we needed to rest comfortably. Wish there was more signage on the road to the house, but we found our way. Would stay again :)
