"Cathy and Uli have worked hard to add charm and comfort to Maggie's rustic farmhouse from a bygone era. It was a wonderful time to be there. So peaceful, set back from the road and surrounded by the beautiful Fall colours. Very nice to sit by the fire burning in the wood stove and enjoy one of the many interesting local history books. "

"The house was perfect for us. Way out in the middle of nowhere, quiet and secluded. The house was clean and and lots of room for the kids to run around. There is a wonderful trail that leads out to a cliff Lookout. The house is owned by a nearby (12 km away) wilderness resort. The hot tub and wifi mentioned in the ad are located there, not at this house. Watch out with leaving food around outside, we did spot a coyote near the house while we were outside having a bonfire. "The 2 bedroom, 3 bed house was great. It was clean, well stocked and located right off the beach. It is quiet with a great view. Highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the drive to get places. Cape Breton in the fall is absolutely beautiful! A must see!"
