"We had the best time here. So peaceful and beautiful. The place is down a dirt road, so probably need 4wd in the winter and definitely bring groceries since the closest dining is a bit down the road. The place was spotless clean, the most comfortable beds, and beautiful setting. "

"This was our second stay, 6 middle aged women looking for some relaxation and quality time with each other. The only hiccup we had with our first stay was the hot tub but the owners purchased a new one so we decided to stay again. Everything was great from the comfortable bedding, the kitchen, deck, firewood, comfortable couches to relax on, and the new hot tub did not disappoint. The owners were great responding to our questions. "

"We loved our stay here. Golfed on our way up at Lochmere C.C. and also played at Owl's Nest Resort, which is very close to the house. Both golf courses were very well maintained, had lots of character and beautiful views. Explored Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves as well. Really enjoyed ending the day in the hot tub, looking up at the stars. Played a little ping pong and pool as well. Overall a very nice getaway. "

Stare at waterfalls all day from the farmers porch…

"The cabin was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights. The waterfall and nature surrounding the cabin were beautiful. Had a small issue when we arrived with the heater. However, after a quick text with Vinnie, he was there in a few minutes and had us back in good shape. The internet and cell coverage is pretty limited, but at a place like that, who needs internet. We just had a tough time getting a hold of the kids to check in back home. Highly recommend and Vinnie is super responsive. "

"My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs. We had a great time and it was just enough space for the 4 of us. Sean gave us easy to follow directions and was a great communicator. The space was clean and we appreciated having an AC. Highly recommend for a weekend get away!"

"Lake was absolutely worth the trip. Even had kayaks and canoes. I give this place a lower rating just because the house was not up to par. It was dirty, had a weird smell, and there was mold. Housekeeping can do better"

"Stayed with my husband, son, daughter in law and 3 year old granddaughter. We totally enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and very well appointed. Morning walks to the river and roasting marshmallows at night. Butterflies, wild turkeys, and a toad were highlights for the little one. A short drive to Wellington state park and about 30 minutes to restaurants. I imagine it would also be a perfect location in fall and winter"
