Perfect little spot
We booked this house for a quick getaway with the family so we could unplug and recharge and it was everything we needed. We enjoyed the comfy beds, fishing off the dock, the fire pit, and watching the sunrise/sunset.

Views are amazing for sunrise and sunsets (dockside) Everything we needed for a good time to boat and fish missed a big one right at the dock (need to fix the drag) Would consider staying here again.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for us. It is on a beautiful spot right on the lake. It is quiet and calming. The hosts thought of everything that you forgot to bring! It was wonderful and we plan to go back.

Enjoyed our stay
We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. We fished off the dock and caught a wide variety of fish, but we had better luck and caught larger fish in the evening. A huge storm came through and the host kept in contact to make sure we were ok. We ended our stay short because of the county wide loss of power but definitely plan on coming back.

This was exactly the rustic but fully accomodated place that we needed to recharge and take in beautiful scenery. The panoramic windows and view of lake , sunrise and sunset was incredible.

I sent my sister and new brother-in-law here for their honeymoon, and it was wonderful. They had the best time. Peggy went the extra mile and ensured there were flowers and snacks. The place was spotless and the area is quiet and beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

Horrible experience with bugs. Left after 2nights out of 5. Were compensated $54 out of $1000 by Evolve and owner who works there-stay away from them!!! They admitted there were bugs but only compensated us this!!! Book direct with vrbo only as they tried to help us. Property is much older then photos. Bathroom is ancient. Sadly, a terrible 30th anniversary for us.

The accommodations were quaint and decorated nicely. The host provided everything you may have needed for a lake experience. Even a bouy for the dock as the wind was blowing. More than met our expectations.

Did not know there would be steps down from the parking area to the cottage. We are both handicapped so it was difficult to unload our luggage etc and get down to the front door. The actual patio furniture was not the same as the photos showed. Pluses were the cottage was clean and the view of the lake was amazing. We enjoyed the variety of birds in the trees.

What a beautiful, serene place on earth!
Boyd's Creek retreat was amazing. A little slice of heaven! The house was clean, welcoming and stocked with all the necessities needed (i.e. plenty of ice, snacks, spices, cookware, plates, cups, 2 types of coffee makers, etc.) The beds were comfortable, and the a/c worked! We spent most of our time down on the dock swimming. The rest of the time was spent comfortably in the house, looking at the spectacular scenery. Such a quite, remote cove. Thank you for a wonderful stay, filled with quality family time and memories.
