Floating the river
Great place to stay if you have a larger group. Incredibly close to Gruene and river floats.

It was ok
I had some trouble at the beginning with miscommunication with the property manager. Location is close to Gruene and the river. It was basically clean besides terrible stains on the carpet in the master bedroom…refrigerator did not work so we lost food we brought, there wasn’t a toilet seat on the toilet in the main bathroom so everyone had to use the bathroom in the master bedroom’s bathroom, the A/C filter was caked with dirt and dust. They said someone would come out to fix it the next day but didn’t and by time someone would have come to fix it we had already dealt with it most our stay and we were leaving the next day so we said not to worry about it. Overall, it was an ok stay, we had beds with clean sheets to sleep in.

Perfect Concert House!
We came for one quick night to see Willie Nelson at the Whitewater Amphitheater. We honestly just needed a place to sleep and we wanted it to be close to the venue. This house is the perfect location! It’s only about 4.5 miles from the amphitheater on FM 306. It’s a little tricky to see off the Highway, but once you find it the first time, it’s easier. The house was very clean, just outdated, but we didn’t care. We literally only showered and slept there. Beds are fine. Would definitely stay again. **Concert tip** Go early, park and eat at the Dusty Rose. Parking price is the same as the amphitheater and so much easier to get into. After the concert, go back for another drink and maybe some more food and when the amphitheater traffic dies down, be on your way and back to the house in about 5-7mins. **
