I liked that this property was close to Gruene Historic events. The hotel was under renovation, the bathroom was dirty ands the beds were not comfortable at all and the linen smelled strongly of bleach. A lot of noise in the hallways as well as in the room next to ours.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very nice. The continental breakfast was OK.. But right in front of the hotel was a dunkin donuts and a Dutch bros coffee. The highway in front was a little loud somefire trucks and emergency vehicles

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and roomy. The breakfast is quite good. The only issue was the water suddenly shut off in the middle of his shower but after a couple of minutes it came back on.

I found it interesting. We came in probably around 5:30 PM and the desk person was sitting in the back in a chair in full view. Not at all unprofessional or uncaring, I just found it funny. Of course they could’ve been sitting in the back room because there was colder air blowing in through the front door. Check-in was fine no problems.
