"We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep on returning, which is the best recommendation we can give. The reception staff is always alert and willing to help. There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"front desk staff was so nice. I arrived very early and she was able to let me into my room earlier than the check in time! The transit system around the hotel is very good and there is a great gas station next to the hotel convenience. It is also very close and walkable to many major sites, the beach, museums and more. The room itself was very clean, it was a HUGE room. The bed was comfortable and the re was more than enough space to relax."

"This is a newer (2019) hotel, centally located, in a very old neighborhood. The staff tries very hard to create a high level of guest experience. The restaurant offers excellent food. Our room was on the 4th floor...but the elevator only goes to 3. Our room was large & comfortable. It had 2 balconies and nice, sunny southern exposure. The room was noisey...some neighborhood noise. "We were by error sent up to a dirty unmade room. It shocked us. Not close to any food services. The room was dark. Bathroom flooded. When i asked for a second cup of coffee i was fiven cold coffee with attitude. I would hsve paid for coffe. Just bad service. "

"Do not stay there. Just before I got in the hotel I was told to buy the reception that I need to go to different hotel because there was something wrong with our room. No one warned me of that before our arrival. We we booked for two nights and we were told to go just for one night in this other place until they fix the room and next day to come back to the hotel. Extremely unprofessional. I demanded that they find a room for two nights so I don't have to pack twice as we were with two kids....
