"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. The interior is a bit outdated on some occasions an could do with some repairs, but our stay was very much ok. If i visit...

"Lieu très reposant,petite terrasse agréable avec pelouse close idéale pour mon petit chien. La maison ne manque de rien, tout est ok pour se faire plaisir en cuisine. Mr Pasco est très discret et à l'écoute. Près de tous les points forts à visiter dans le coin. Je recommande vivement."

Situated in a most beautiful place, the house had everything needed for a comfortable stay, nicely furnished to a very high standard, just a short drive from Cherbourg which was so convenient, in fact my journey from my home to the house was just 1.5 hours driving, not including the very pleasant 4 hour crossing with Brittany Ferries. "Ancien presbytère avec des pièces très grandes et agréables. Un très grand jardin. Très calme et assez particulier mais vraiment agréable pour qui se sent capable de passer sur les quelques détails un peu vieillisants . Mais l'accueil a été très sympa et efficace avec une très grande liberté. Séjour particulièrement reposant . Le lieu est hors des zones touristiques mais la région est magnifique. Les commerçants assez proches. Nous nous avons beaucoup aimé ..."

"Very nice hotel. Only small observation is that the towels are very old and worn, and are rather like chamois cloths for cleaning car. Otherwise a wonderful stay, very pleasant staff, close to amenities, reasonably priced"

Comfortable stay

"Spotlessly clean hotel. Room smelt fresh and had everything we needed. Only comment is that the door to the shower is quite small so if you're of a larger size, you may find it a bit of a struggle. Breakfast was outstanding - one of the best selections I've had in a french hotel, and good value for money."
