Whilst near a road and the train tracks the room was reasonably well sound proofed when the windows were closed and they didn't disturb me. "If you are looking for actual schloss' or burgs (castles or palaces) to stay at, Schloss Engers is not one of them. It seems to be pretty much just an event hotel. The outside looks fantastic, but there was not much to the inside at all (at least for regular guests). The breakfast was good and sufficient, but that was maybe the only highlight. There was nothing special about the rooms. It is not in an easily accessed location (far from the highlights of Koblenz). And the price was definitely not...
