"The house is set at the end of a very rural drive through the French countryside. Whilst VERY rustic, it has all the amenities you would expect, but is a compromise between a pretty old building and modern refurbishment. Perhaps not for everyone, but we loved it. "Very nice, quiet location near charming small towns and walks in the forests. A house with local character that has been thoughtfully updated. Plenty of space for two couples. Loved the large fireplace and well stocked kitchen. Our host, Thierry, was very accommodating and full of suggestions."

"This is a charming small gite forming part of a single-storey coach-house, which has a good private terrace with brick barbecue as well as off-road parking. Inside it's neat and compact (perhaps a bit on the small side for four people as the sofa bed would take up most of the lounge area), with a functional kitchen that has a dual-function microwave, two induction hob rings, coffee-maker, and a fridge freezer. The shower room is small, and also houses the washing machine, but it all worked fine....
