"The hotel is within short walking distance to town centre. Walking to appariton hill and cross mountian is pleasant specially when the weather is cooler. The ladies in reception are very helpful. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast are attentive making sure there is always warm food and you have all you need. Have stayed twice in this hotel and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Looking forward to our next stay."

"If I could give Hotel Herceg more than 5 stars I would. Everything about this hotel was amazing. From location to the staff. The hotel is at the heart of Medugorje. A very short walk to the church, nearby shops, and restaurants. My family and I walked to Apparition Hill which was about 25 minute walk (highly recommend to walk, see the houses, and the Divine Mercy statue & well), and we walked to Cross Mountain. "When I got to the hotel there was no one at the front desk at any time. I did not have WiFi therefore I was never able to contact them. Owners are nice and do try their best but I wouldn’t be back. Rooms are modern and it is within 8-12 min walking to church and main area. Air conditioning in my room was not working well, it was kind of hot. I was never given an introduction about breakfast or any meals. It’s clean, good location. For a last minute hotel like I had to it is a great option. If...

"Stayed at Hotel Quercus for 5 nights. The hotel is modern and very clean. The triple room is very comfortable and spacious with decent size bathroom. Staff is very helpful and professional. Short walk from the bus station. Conveniently located near St. James Church, souvenir shops and restaurants. We felt safe getting up before sunrise and walking 20-25 minutes to the entrance of Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain. I would stay here again. The complimentary buffet breakfast is a plus!"
