"Decent, clean, and comfortable. Lots of social spaces and activities on the property too and at least the room I was in had a phenomenal view of the city to awake to each morning. Also the metro was right next to hostel which was extremely convenient."

"The property had everything although breakfast was expensive. Their lobby had 24/7 different coffees & tea, self serve. Transportation was very very convenient. Although some of the stations had different names like Wien HBF is also Hauptbahnhof station, & some other names. Know your station SONNERGASSE."

"Very comfortable large room. The breakfast is outstanding. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful.The hotel is a little further away from the centre of Vienna but an Underground is 5min walk away,and is 4/5 stops away from the Opera house. The garage is right next door to the hotel with access into the hotel but is not run by the hotel. €40 per 24hrs. Take special care parking on weekdays in Austria usually weekends are free. Hot drinks were very expensive everywhere."

"We loved our stay at the Doubletree. Spacious rooms, with easy access to Schonbrunn palace, and accommodating staff. For kids in particular - plenty of room to keep strollers in the room, great infant bed, and a bathtub the littles can use. We would gladly stay again with our family of four. "

"I almost cancelled this hotel booking based on the picture of the front showing what appears to be a rough area with graffiti covered walls, but don't be put off by that. Graffiti along railway lines seems to be regarded as art in vienna, and is no indication of it being a rough area. The hotel is spotlessly clean and modern. Good facilities in the rooms. Very quiet if you keep the windows closed. Fantastically convenient for the underground, just 100 yards from the front door - which is also spotless, on time and easy to use by the way. A reasonably good choice is provided for breakfast. Rooms have modern 60" tvs, which allow screen sharing from your mobile devices. A modern room safe is provided. Bathrooms are modern, excellent showers and spotlessly clean. Storage space in the room is limited, but adequte for short stays. I would definitely recommend and plan to return. Vienna is a beautiful city and easy to get in and out from this location. "
