"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"Lovely little break, and lots of space for the whole family. But the Vrbo listing is a 3rd party agent. We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry"

It is a lovely home that is part of a renovated compound surrounded by grape vinyeards near the adorable town of Franceuil. The house is perfect with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a lovely well-appointed and renoovated kitchen and living room complete with a small but upscale gas wall fireplace for colder nights. The home has everything you need for a fantastic get-away including a lovely swimming pool...

"Relaxing, refreshing, restful! We thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome and attentiveness when we had questions. The rural setting was quiet and serene, but close to the locations we wanted to visit. "What a great holiday we had at this lovely gîte. It is spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and has a plenty to keep everyone of all ages occupied, including table tennis, zip line, boules and the pool. A big attraction are the animals which you can help look after, a pony, goats and some chickens. A great find and we hope we can stay there again!"
