"The property and rooms were really nice and comfortable. Location is also beautiful. Strangely, we were not able to find any staff on Sunday for the entire day. It just felt a bit remote and abandoned during our stay (mid-December). I would also recommend arriving by car. Buses only arrive to the location every hour or so. "

They have a historic movie theater attached which we attended, also an excellent Italian restaurant where we ate 3 times, room was updated and with a beautiful bathroom. The staff were unfriendly unhelpful and had a generally bad attitude. The rooms were cramped and the whole hotel felt cramped. "Loved the location and amenities of this apartment! Had some difficulty with the on-site check in because there isn’t a real person to check in. It worked out for us, but not for another couple we tried to help. Was so happy to be out of the hustle and bustle of Hallstatt!!
