"My best friend and I traveled to celebrate my birthday and this was hands down the best resort I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. The dining options were great. Our favorite was Azul. Katiana was the absolute best bar tender at the infinity pool. We looked forward to chatting with her and getting perfectly made drinks. Everyone at the resort was incredibly friendly and helpful."

"We were in the M building which was very convenient to the beach lobby and restaurants. My daughter was in B which was ok for them but I as a 72 yr old with asthma would have needed to call a shuttle every time I wanted to come down to the beach lobby or restaurants."

"This property was once a luxury time share, I heard, and one can still see that: the size of the rooms (I had a 1 bedroom apartment, with balconies on the two sides (street and pool) of the building, the marble tiles in the bathroom, full size kitchen, etc, They still have 5 o'clock activities, as cheese tasting, karaoke, live music. The restaurant is good and not expensive. Happy hour two times/day. The staff was efficient, very polite, and in my case, went beyond their duty when I needed them. The pool, very clean, is a gathering and make friends place. There is a bus from Philipsburg, but a car is a must if you want to explore. I like Marigot (15 minute by car) more than Philipsburg, Grand Case (beach, restaurants) is about 30 minutes by car. On my last day, I discovered the beach at the Friar's bay; small, golden sand, sheltered from wind and rough seas. The beach is serviced by 3 bars/restaurants, and renting the beach chairs is the cheapest in St. Martin. Do not go to St. Barth, there is nothing to see. Half of the people on the ferry were sea-sick. Anguilla is worth seeing, beautiful beaches. You can go by ferry, but if you only want to see some beaches, better take a catamaran tour. The ferry comes very expensive, there are many landing/leaving taxes (Anguilla is another country) "
