"Had a lovely say this week at Chez Mathilde. It was chosen for the peace and quiet and because of the lovely cosy feel of the property. It was just the right distance for us to explore the forts and bunkers around Verdun. The gite itself, had everything we needed including a wood burning fire. Annie was lovely and made us a quiche, which was the best I have eaten. If we go back to this region again, we will defiantly be booking Chez Mathilde again."

"Het is een prachtige woning op het Franse platteland. Bij warm weer is het binnen lekker koel. Het staat in een heel klein gehuchtje, waar verder geen voorzieningen zijn. Dat is het enige nadeel, wel heerlijk rustig. Ook voor stadjes en musea en dergelijke moet je wel een eindje rijden. De eigenaresse is heel aardig en spreekt naast Frans ook goed Engels."

"We ( a family of 5) spent one night in Chez Brigette on our way back to the UK after 2 weeks in Provence. We could not have asked for a better night. Brigette was the warmest hostess and it was clear that she had thought of everything. The property was very clean and modern. Our short stay was comfortable and she provided a wonderful breakfast in the morning. I thoroughly recommend staying here."
