"Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. "We enjoyed our stay in a lovely cottage, surrounded by beautiful scenery in a lovely village and right next door to a friendly hotel serving delicious meals. Laura and the girls were excellent hosts.Its a perfect base for trips out and walks."

"Spent just 2 nights at cottage but we enjoyed it very much. Very warm and cosy. Slight problem that instructions I was sent stated that key safe is to the left of the front door. In fact it is through a door to the right of the front door! We managed but glad it wasn’t in the dark."

After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful .
