Clean lovely home, easy check in and out, wonderful hosts who are happy to give us space to feel like we were on our own ranch. Close to trails and a nice base camp for trail riding, exploring the black hills or just getting away from the grind.
This was our first vrbo stay and it did not disappoint. The location is quiet and private, great for kids. We loved the nightly camp fires and watching the cows in the field.
I hesitated before choosing this property, but I’m so very glad I booked here. The house is cozy and has everything you might need. The owners are kind, thoughtful, and helpful. The location is perfect and the setting is so beautiful.
One of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed at! Extremely clean and very well taken care of! Made our stay very enjoyable! We were welcomed with a fresh loaf of banana bread and alot of hospitality! Highly recommend!
This house is perfect! A well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of seating. We were welcomed with fresh zuchini bread made by Jody! I cant say enough great things about our stay!
The property was very clean and organized. The hosts do a great job making their guests feel welcomed and informed about the house and the area. They even welcomed us with homemade sweet bread and a kind note. We would definitely stay here again!
We loved this house! Great location! Very clean. Had yummy zucchini bread waiting for us when we got there! It was a gem of a house in a beautiful location! Loved everything about it!
We’ve stayed at lots of rental properties and this one is in the top 5% for sure. Between the owners , location views, amenities, and cleanliness it’s really over the top. Just a very comfortable stay and hope to return someday. Can’t think of a thing to improve on. Book it!
The home was fantastic. Plenty of wildlife and quiet countryside. Owners were on top of everything. Fast responses and very friendly. If we go back to SD we will definitely check if this location is available.
Great stay in Nemo! Beautiful location with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The house was just as described, perfect for our visit to the Hills! Jody was a great host and made herself available for anything we needed. ☺️
Wonderful place to spend our Black Hills vacation. The birds and turkeys were fun to watch and the quiet location was ideal. The convenience of the UTV/ATV trail system was a plus for us. We logged over 500 miles and never had to trailer once. Jody and Rick were awesome to deal with and the bread was very yummy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This location is just what you'd imagine staying in the Hills - beautiful scenery, wildlife, and a cozy house! Jody and Rick were very helpful with everything during my booking and my stay there. Could not ask for better people to stay with. It's perfect for a couple or small group. Don't hesitate booking! I'll definitely be back!
Great hosts. Jody and Rick were fantastic. We where greeted with a fresh bake bannana nut bread. Cook to perfection. Very quiet and peaceful. Within 30mins of all the tourist attractions. Thanks for a great stay.
My husband and I stayed about a week. The house was perfect and Rick and Jody couldn’t be sweeter! Quiet location, perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. Jody even made some homemade banana bread that was delicious. House had everything you could need with a beautiful view. Definitely recommend!!
This is a farmhouse from the 1920s located in the northwest of Nemo, South Dakota. The house is fully equipped with modern amenities, and everything works perfectly. We enjoyed the house's central location as it was conveniently located between Deadwood, Sturgis, Rapid City, and the Needles Highway area. Additionally, the area surrounding Nemo is ideal for off-highway vehicle trails, such as full-size jeeps and side-by-side rigs. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.
We can think of nothing that would have made our visit better. Jody was very kind, the property was amazing, our kids felt very comfortable and slept well, the views and wildlife were fantastic. When we return to the black hills area, we will stay again. Thank you for a lovely visit!
My wife and I had a great time staying at the Farmhouse. The place is beautifully decorated and it was immaculate upon our arrival. There were fresh muffins on the kitchen counter which was a nice touch. We so enjoyed the place and the piece and quiet it provided. We had a campfire a couple of the nights. Jody, the owner was so helpful and gave us ideas about what to do in the area. We came to enjoy the little village of Nemo near by. Thanks again for a great stay.
The house was perfect for our family vacation. It has amazing views, central to the places we wanted to visit, and quiet. It was stocked with plenty of towels, fresh linens, paper products, pots, pans, and soaps. We enjoyed a delicious loaf of homemade banana bread, compliments of the owner, and were very grateful she had coffee stocked, as I forgot some the first morning we were there. We had a wonderful stay. As we were leaving the house, our teen girls said they missed it already and that they loved being there. Thank you for your hospitality, your house was everything we wanted and needed.
This time, for our yearly trip to the Black Hills, we chose this sweet farmhouse. Jody was kind enough to bake some delicious coffee cake for our stay and came down to the house to meet us. The home is very cozy and comfortable, except for the queen bed, which was too firm for our liking. We ended up staying in the twin beds in the other bedroom but that wasn't a big deal. We were just so relieved to be in a quiet, beautiful location to unwind over the long weekend and get away from it all. Thank you, Jody & Rick, for sharing this old fashioned gem with us!
