"Beautiful hotel well located for hikes in the area. We stayed in the large cottage which is a very nice spacious option for families. Staff was very kind and accommodating (always went the extra mile) and as others have noted the food was really excellent. Light and healthy and tasted very fresh—the best food we had in Rwanda. "

"We had an amazing stay at Ruhondo. The staff were all so welcoming and kind, particular mention to Jana 😊. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. We had a lovely walk/hike along the lakeside and up into the village together with a gaggle of local children - more and more joined us as we walked 😊.
