Hiking Stay
Very pleasant and cozy stay. Liked the porches and deck availability along with hot tub access. The switch locations and no steps into hot tub were the only negatives.

Second stay
This is our second time to stay at this property. We always enjoy it and it’s close to family which is why we rent instead of getting a hotel. We will be back next year!

Hocking Hills Hiking
Location is great and hosts were easy to communicate with. You do have to check in at a local store and is clearly stated in the check in instructions. The house was hard to find at night because the front lights were not on. Very close to Athens and Hocking Hills with a lot to do around it.

Perfect Getaway
We wanted to experience Hocking Hills and got the pleasure of also getting to know Nelsonville. It was a quick drive to lots of beautiful sites and hiking. The house was clean, well appointed, easy to travel to and from, and spacious for the 2 of us. Down side was being on the backside of the Main Street going through town, but the privacy fence blocked out some of the intrusion.

Cute property
This cute litle house has been remodeled and is cute and cozy. Owner did a great job in decorating. Some minor things need to be taken care of like a toilet that needs to be reseated because it rocks, need to replace a light bulb in bathroom and the yard could use a little work as it can be muddy if it rains. The neighboorhood is par for the course I think in Nelsonville. Overall it was a great stay and would stay their again.

Nelsonville
It would be helpful if I was informed the check in was to take place inside the store as we were looking for the realty company. It would also be helpful if there was a hook or two in the bathroom. It would also be extremely helpful to have a step stool available for the hot tub and to know it was placed on gravel. Overall a cute place to stay but a bit inconvenient in the things mentioned above.

Very nice recently renovated 2-bedroom home 30 minutes from HH Park
My wife and I visited the Hocking Hills State Park, which is ~30 minutes from Nelsonville and this VRBO. The unit is located only ~one-half mile from the restaurants in the town public square, so we walked and left the car in the driveway. The unit was recently renovated and was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Although it was just the two of us, the unit would be perfect for two couples. The kitchen was excellently equipped with everything needed to cook and dine except for wine glasses. There are plenty of nice towels and throw pillows for the furniture, but we didn’t realize we needed to supply our own coffee, coffee filters, shampoo and bath soap. We didn’t use the back deck or fire pit but they looked nice. We could not get the TV connected to the internet. Check in was not ideal in that we had to pick up the key at an outdoors store before they closed at 8 pm. The overall condition and furnishings of the unit made it a nice play to stay.

Hocking Hills Trip
This rental is cozy & cute. Beds are comfortable. Spacious place for my daughter & I. The hot tub was great to use after hiking all day (although that cover needs replaced!) I liked having a kitchen so we could cook instead of eating out all week, although they didn’t have any pots and only salt & pepper for cooking. The place is about half hour to most trails, which I didn’t mind considering the price & how nice the place was. Parking was easy for just our 1 vehicle in the driveway.

Cute house check-in not my favorite
House was very cute and clean. Only issue I found was check-in and out. If they would change locks to keypad locks it would eliminate the need to meet to pick up and return key. Did make it more difficult with arriving and departing out side of their normal hours.

Nice stay for Hocking Hills getaway
The inside of the home is very cute and it was exceptionally clean and smelled nice when we walked in. The yard had a lot of weeds, the bushes out front needed trimmed and were full of spider webs, the deck's stain was peeling off, and the hot tub's cover is split down the middle and coming apart. We didn't use the hot tub due to fear of the cover tearing the rest of the way apart. The neighborhood/town is decent and the people were all friendly. A lot of things were shut down and after speaking with the locals we found out it is still recovering from the aftermath of the Covid-19 Shutdowns. It is fairly close to the other towns though. Our nights were quiet and we were comfortable staying there. The beds are quite high off the floor. I'm 5'2" and had to step on the sideboard to get in. My husband is a foot taller and had no issues. Beds were average for comfort. There is no dishwasher but the washer/dryer worked really well. The hot water ran out quickly when in the shower but lasted long enough to do a quick wash. All in all it was still much nicer than some hotels we've seen and it was very reasonably priced. We would probably stay again if needed.
