The 1850 Inn is located in Nelsonville and 5 miles from Wayne National Forest. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Nelsonville's Historic Square Arts District, Stuart's Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. 15 miles from the cabin, guests will run into Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest.
