There is plenty of room to spread out in the house, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, the dining table seats a large group comfortably, and the game room kept everyone entertained! "Wow, Diane’s place exceeded any and all expectations for our stay. The unit below the main home was perfect for our Nelson getaway. The kitchen is large enough to get groceries and cook for the week, the biggest plus is being able to see Diane’s amazing pottery up close and personal! We had a bit of a snow fall and the owners made sure that the drive way was cleared as the driveway is longer and up hill a bit. "Our family of four adults traveled to Nelson to ski at Whitewater. We absolutely loved Chara's Railtown Suite. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and just a really homey feel. "We needed a place to rest and recover between two backcountry ski trips and this was the perfect place. Lisa was extremely helpful and accomodating during our visit. We loved the location as we could walk to everything. It is quite uphill to get back home, but not too daunting. The old house is very comfortable and furnished for comfortable living. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking even though we mostly went out. I highly recommend this place!"
