"This property would have been ideal for our needs,we booked in plenty of time and the booking was accepted, but on the 12/12/24 I received an email to say she couldn't accept our booking and we would not be charged, so angry I had to look for an alternative so close to our travel date."

Only downside was that when I requested a plug for the bath I was told it was there the night before and that I should take a shower! 😧 Part of this “fawlty towers” moment was the language barrier, and that they also run a restaurant downstairs and seemed overly stretched and understaffed. "We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. The interior is a bit outdated on some occasions an could do with some repairs, but our stay was very much ok. If i visit...
