"The property is still under construction, so I can understand how some parties would take issue with it. We only stayed for one night, so it didn’t really bother us. The location is a bit remote, but not too hard to find once you get used to driving around Tortola. "

"Mindy is an exceptional property manager. She goes above and beyond. The Villa was much better than described. It is the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed at and the cleaning service came twice during our 7 day visit. The laundry isn’t available to guests but the cleaning service washes anything you want when they come to clean. The Villa is a short walk to a beautiful beach and at the mist 4 other people would be there. We loved the whole experience and will be back!"

"We had a fabulous stay at the house. The beach was a short walk or drive (it’s steep) and it was an unexpected treasure. Note: the waves are a bit aggressive. The house had beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler to use. The hot tub was a great way to end the evening. We used Island Time for water taxi, car rental and powerboat rental. They were great to work with. We would absolutely stay here again! "

"A home away from home. Inge and Rose have made their vision a mission to cater to guests. A true relaxing Shangri la. Exceptionally clean and superbly appointed. The use linens that have been in Inge's family for 3 generations. A 5min walk to the best public beach I've ever seen (even after many beaches in the Greek islands). Breakfast is amazing. An outstanding cook (Alex) is always on spot. Inge makes it a priority to ensure guests are taken care of, even ordering dinner for us when needed....

"Lovely grounds and plenty of space to spread out. Would stay again—just a couple minor issues. Half of hot tub jets were not working, pool struggled to stay clear and one bungalow had faulty AC. Immigration workers questioned our address as being incomplete but we had no further details to give them. Property manager Katie is so kind and welcoming."

"The spot is great, with spectacular views overlooking Marina Cay and to Tortola and Virgin Gorda in the distance. The beach is just a brief steep walk down the hill. The house is nicely proportioned with a big porch and three bedrooms of decent size. And while not fancy, it is certainly comfortable, clean and very pleasant. The hosts are incredibly attentive and responsive and provided boat transportation and guiding basically on demand. We had a great time."

"We loved staying at the Cooten House! The views are incredible and we appreciated the privacy. The Bluetooth stereo is great. Hot tub is wonderful. Comfortable bed. Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and snorkel gear provided. Everything you would need in the kitchen. Comfortable couch in the living room. A/C in the bedroom worked great and I loved the cross winds with the windows open in the living room. It’s in a remote location, so it’s a 15 minute drive to restaurants and the ferry...
