"The property was very well-appointed and clean. The area was transitioning and there were many places that looked unsafe. There was a set of blinds on one window that would not go all the way down, so that made me nervous. I propped things up against both doors for added security. Surprisingly I slept straight through the night which lets me know it was quiet and peaceful that night. I would try it again, though. "

"My biggest complaints would be that there were dirty dishes in the cupboards so I ended up washing most of them before using them. There were several lights out or not working in the apartment. The kitchen is very small which is okay but not well pictured in the listing. No extra toilet paper just the single half roll you get when arriving. "This place was lovely. We spent a few days here as a family when our son had a weekend pass from Fort Gregg Adams. It was a great space to just relax and hang out. It's really well stocked and very clean and comfy. Cute neighborhood. Would absolutely stay again!"

"Nice apartment within a larger old building. Perfect for our evening out. We did dinner at Rappahannock (2 blocks away) and a show at The National (5 or 6 blocks). And best part was the walk up pizza place across the street. We got a couple slices at 12:30 am on the way back home. No issues with this place. "

"This is a comfortable place to spend a few days in Richmond and the pictures in the listing tell the story accurately. Steps from Perly's, Stella's grocery and everything else downtown, yet feels calm and quiet in the apartment.There was a persistant acrid smell, like burnt rubber or wires in the bathroom the whole time, which would not clear even with the exhaust fan. "Property was great! Two small things that need to be change; 1. Closet needs an actual closet hanging bar, the curtain rod is not sturdy and insufficient to hang clothes during stay. 2. Need a real deadbolt."

"We loved this condo. It’s cute and cozy and just felt like home away from home. Everything we needed was there and then some. The pool was great. The neighborhood and location can’t be beat. We can’t wait to return. "

"Communication was wonderful! Responded right away to any questions/concerns we had. Size was exactly what we needed. We utilized the kitchen and washer/dryer! The apartment was clean. Bathrooms even had make-up wipes and cotton balls for use! Location was safe with parking. Very cute! We will definitely stay again!"

"This is spacious and comfortable and worked well for a girls weekend. You are just outside the city but close to everything. The canal is right across the street with walking paths and great views of the water and city. Only downside is the noise if you aren’t used to the city or traffic noise. "

"Just back from a stay at this property and it was just as described. I would stay there again without hesitation. I would recommend a good cleaning in the living room - dry cleaning the couch as well as rug, which is why I rated cleanliness with 3 stars. I had a little trouble with the check in, but the owner was available as needed. Not sure if this is VRBO or the owner, but I would urge a check out time of no later than noon. If it had been, I would not have to have left dishes in the sink! "

"You delivered what you promised. This was a well designed, stylish place. So clean! I was comfortable (once I figured how to work the heat!) and I loved the neighborhood. There were a few bulbs out, so a check on that is a good idea, but it did not cause a problem, as there's plenty of lighting. Communication was great. Any issue I had (the room code) was fixed immediately, with a quick phonically."

"Next to Pizza Bones and a half block from Union Market, where I ate regularly. The only drawback is not the owner's fault. Richmond, Virginia has unreliable infrastructure. Several times a year, the power goes out in entire neighborhoods. This time, the power went out in the water treatment plant and this caused the water to shut off for all of Richmond for about two days. No way to flush a toilet! No way to wash your hands! "So we didn’t stay here because the day of check the host messaged that the AC had gone out. She couldn’t fix it before after our stay and immediately refunded us. I was disappointed that we had to find another place to stay but this host deserves five stars for being considerate and communicative. Many others would have just said come on, I’ve got a fan. Top notch, will book again on our next visit to Richmond. "

"My stay was great! Bostic Suites was extremely responsive to any inquiries I had, including helping when I was “lockbox-challenged” haha! I definitely recommend this listing for anyone who needs a quiet place from which to work and sleep and who wants to be close to a range of fantastic restaurants."
