"Overall, the stay was very good and was perfect for our trip to the Lake District. The location is perfect for navigating the Lakes as easy access to the M6. To the top of the lakes, it took us 1 hour by car. The continental breakfast served was plenty to start each day with. You can have cooked for £12 extra but we felt the continental option was more than enough. The room was spacious and up to date. We stayed in the Herdsman. Only downfall we had was we booked a certain table for dinner one evening and one member of staff had moved us and was quite rude about it!
