"In August we booked for a 3 night stay in November as part of our honeymoon tour of SEnegal. We booked and paid for a superior double bungalow. On arrival they had no record of our booking but I was able to verify booking by showing my booking details and receipt on my phone. They told us that we could have the booked room for one night only as it was booked for someone else for the second two nights. They offered us a basic cabin and this is what we accepted as we did not want to take the room...

"The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy and surrounded by nature. The beach near the property is not the best area to go for swimming. We were scheduled to stay 5 days at this property, and 2 days into our stay the water went out. We came that evening after a day in town and could not shower- thank God we had some bottled water to use for basic needs. "This hotel is new, but needs a lot of improvement. First, there is no pool (being renovated) or restaurant. Second, my room had a smell that radiated from the bathroom…I’m guessing sewer gas from an improper sink trap. They put an incense lamp to cover it up. Also, mosquitos at night in a room without nets. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were pleasant, but I’d look for another option in Saint-Louis."
