"While we were a little nervous about the somewhat shabby area around this small, quiet hotel, we were quite happy to enter and find an immaculately clean, modernized facility. The parking area, while not a garage, fell safe and secure. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, the common areas fresh and modern and the room so clean and sparkling! Absolutely the only reason I had to take off a star was because the mattress really could use replacing. It felt old and I could feel the springs....

"We had a pleasant stay but the current necessary Covid19 precautions made it difficult to relax completely. All our requests were responded to efficiently and the staff worked hard to make the best of the Covid19 situation. "

"Staff good . Bedding clean and comfortable. Air conditioning not working, mouldy shower ceiling, carpet very worn. Whole hotel needs a revamp. Breakfast buffet not great choice. Overpriced. Car parking very easy and hotel was not noisy. Would not use again unless keen to stay in Parthenay."
