"The most perfect stay. The staff really do make the resort what it is and made us feel so welcome from the first minute until the last. Perfect location for snorkelling and kayaking. The view from the treetop bure was breathtaking although certain aspects of the room were a little tired and needed updating but this didn’t affect the trip at all. Would happily return to Nanuya."

"Idyllic island escape in a beautiful, secluded part of the Yasawa Islands. Made for those wanting to relax, recharge and switch off from the wider world. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful in a wholly authentic way. The bures were extremely comfortable though were missing some inner curtain/blinds for added privacy (it felt that people could see inside quite easily - one small improvement we'd recommend!). Note there's no WiFi connection in the bures if this bothers you - you just have to go to the restaurant area for your connectivity. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Fiji islands looking to relax and recharge. "

"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"This is a small resort owned and run by Fijian family. It's very authentic, quiet and has beautiful settings. However it's not a "western style type resort." This is kinda like glamping with meals cooked for you. All you do is relax and enjoy the scenery :-) The bures are spacious and built in traditional Fijian style, including bathroom. Simple but practical. Minifridge was an unexpected bonus. We didn't find any insect throughout our 4 night stay. Our neighbours though had a cockroach and some spiders visited them. But that's expected even in higher end places in this tropical environment. Food was delicious and so well presented. They collect rain water which is safe to drink (we were fine but for our kid we treated it with tablets or bought bottled water). Free wifi by the main building. The trip to Blue Lagoon was a highlight. Best snorkelling spot, so many fish! ($40fjd) The trip to the caves is worth doing too. It's about 40 min boat ride one way and it can get bumpy. ($125 fjd) We really enjoyed our stay at Nabua Lodge. We will definitely be back!"

"-Seaside bures were so lovely and cool even though no ac or wifi, the outdoor shower was beautiful -The staff are incredibly friendly and have made us want to come back just for kuata -The food was great with mostly buffet style. Not many options if you have diet restrictions though or allergies. -The dive team was super professional and did such a good job to help us all do a shark dive, we are super thankful. -I had a bad experience at the spa so I wouldn’t recommend it. -The Fiji night, signing dancing were all apart of giving us such a great experience. -The dining outside for dinner is super cute and romantic although no options if it rains. Highly recommend. "
