"An amazing place tucked away in the countryside but conveniently located for lots of the area’s attractions. We came in late Sept and the weather was warm enough for us to picnic our evening meal on the terrace in peace and quiet. The hosts are brilliant nothing is too much trouble and spent time explaining the best places to go. The rooms are of a really high standard and decorated impressively. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. "

Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. "We checked in late but Christophe was waiting for us. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very quaint, typically French which was just what we wanted. Our room was fabulous, beautifully decorated and welcoming (warm and cosy). Breakfast was continental and filled us up for the day ahead with breads/yoghurts/cereals. This a small family run hotel which suited us well and we will definitely recommended to friends and family. One small thing to note is the availability of restaurants...

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "This was a lovely old house from another era, an adorable private garden and situated at the quiet end of a lovely village. Could use some renovation and a more modern kitchen, if you were going to stay longer than a few days, but was fine for our short stay. Mr. Tixier was available just around the corner and by phone at a moment's notice which we really appreciated. He was responsive and nice--the things you need when travelling, as we were, in another country :) "
