Come enjoy our spacious upstairs MASTER suite, no extra fees. You are renting 1 private upstairs room/ensuite bathroom. Bedroom door locks from the outside for you security and privacy. (keys given upon check in) Come and go as you please, no curfew. This room has a queen bed along w/a twin bed, an over sized comfy recliner, large private en-suite bathroom tub/shower. SmartTelevision with HULU LIVE and Amazon Prime and other movies. You are welcome to use my kitchen as a courtesy when not in use..We are 1 mile from the interstate and 15 minutes from downtown Nashville, Tn. We are 4 minutes from shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. There is a mall 10 minutes away. No smoking or vaping. Towels, linens provided along with a coffee bar. 3 guest max

Thanksgiving stay
Had a great stay. Everything was very comfortable and clean. Karla and Skip were super nice and helpful. Will stay again for my regular TN trip to visit the grandkids. The Thanksgiving/fall decorations were awesome.

Stay outside Nashville
It was a nice house, nice room, very clean and tidy. Skip and Karla, the hosts were very friendly and helped us when we had questions. We were happy we stayed here and not in downtown Nashville as this was a quite surrounding.

While searching for a hotel on Expedia, this VRBO listing popped up in my recommendations. I had never stayed anywhere other than hotels but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. We were unsure of what to expect but Skip & Karla were very kind and accommodating and even left delicious cookies for us on the bed😊 If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay for a good price, this is the place!

Suburban Comfort
Beautiful home and great hosts and wonderful brownies. Far enough from downtown to be quiet but near many stores and restaurants. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, did I mention the BROWNIES? We stayed in the Corvette room. The room had two beds, a recliner and a full bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a wonderful property! The hosts are very nice and accommodating. This was our second stay in their home. The room descriptions are accurate and very clean. The hosts offer suggestions when asked. The extra touches, water, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and coffee bar, make the stay worth revisiting!

Everything was perfect! The room was clean and cool and she left chocolate chip cookies as a welcome gift. It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from downtown depending on traffic. Would definitely book again.

Perfect for what we needed
My son and I made a short getaway to explore Nashville and this was a perfect place to stay. Although it's a little outside of Nashville, it was easy to get to/from. Karla & Skip were super friendly hosts, and even left little treats for us. We felt safe, but the room also has it's own lock which is appreciated. This was our first time staying in a VRBO in someone's home and my son said he liked it because it felt like we were just staying with family friends in their home.

I cannot say enough about our stay. Our hosts were always in contact with us about our arrival and what to expect. We were greeted with cookies on our bed. Honestly, if I were to mention everything it would still be an understatement. Our room was clean, bathroom stocked with towels. On our last night we came in a bit late after a concert and were greeted with homemade apple pie at our door step! Gracious….that’s one of many ways to describe our stay ! It honestly just felt like home… so it was perfect ! Can’t wait to stay again !

It was like staying with family
Nice accommodations on the upstairs level of the owners personal home. They live in the house downstairs. Above and beyond personal touches, which we were really appreciative of. Karla & Skip gave us our space while we stayed. Parking space in the drive with code access to garage entrance. We felt safe in the quiet neighborhood. Easy access to Nashville off the highway. We stayed 7 days. Karla is an amazing baker and spoiled us with heavenly sweets! Thanks for helping our stay be comfortable and pleasant!

Perfect for what we were looking for in our Nashville stay
This was our first visit to the Nashville area and we had a great time celebrating July 4th, 2021! Part of what made it great was our stay with Skip and Karla. They are so hospitable and will help with tips with their local knowledge or will stay out of your way if you prefer. We greatly enjoyed our interactions with them. And the snacks, drinks, and late-night treats were an added bonus! We didn't mind the drive into the city since we drove in and stayed the entire day. The parking in the city is $20+ per day on weekdays and $10+ per day on weekends - typical for big cities. If you don't mind being 15-20 minutes outside the city, this is the perfect place for a couple.

Awesome!
Karla and Skip are so awesome. They are the epitome of the south, which we loved! Karla always had little treats out side our door when we would comeback from exploring Nashville. Her and Skip both had great ideas for local venues and where to park for cheap. We loved that they had breakfast stuff in the kitchen available and you can help yourself. They were always willing to help. We also liked that we had a room with our own bathroom. It made our anniversary trip even more special. We cannot think Karla and Skip enough for the warm hospitality and amazing accommodations in there gorgeous house, which is only 20 minutes from downtown Nashville.
