The Space:
Originally the master bedroom suite of a historic lodge, this private cabin is one of three private spaces carved out of the original building. A kitchenette is present in the adjacent sunroom which leads out to your private wrap around porch. En-suite bathroom/shower and outside private hottub. Hiking trail to 8 acre lake starts just outside your door.
The Neighborhood:
Bicycles and kayaks/canoes are available from the Center for Sustainable Stewardship a short walk away. Big East Fork Farms has organic vegetables and a variety of sweet farm animals to meet and feed.
Other Things to Note:
The entire cabin is private and for your use only. There are two other cabins under the same roof, each with private entrances, and private porches. Because these lodgings are in a forest, we consider them to be cabins. They have been designed to be private and the only time you will encounter others is on the incoming driveway area. If you would like to not have anyone adjacent, you may be able to unlist the neighboring unit (at a fee of $150/night). Unit LT1 is located above LT5. All outdoor hot tubs are private and may be used only with their specific renters.
