Our stay was very relaxing. The property owners were very pleasant and made us feel right at home. This stay was unlike any other my family and I have booked. I highly recommend this property. And the homemade cobblers are the best.
This was my second time at the cabin at Spring Haven, and it's beginning to feel like home!! This year, I took my college-bound daughter with me, and we spent almost a week just relaxing in this cozy cabin with three fireplaces and the ambiance of history and the Southern elegance reminiscent of yesterday. Danny and Tammie were the most amazing, hospitable hosts ever, always interested in how we were enjoyiing our stay and if we needed anything. They were extremely knowledgeable in the property's history along with that of the town, and they always greeted us with smiles (and even a warm apple cinnamon cobbler and ice cream one evening!!) I'll definitely be back again; even if on my own, staying in this wonderful, cozy historic cabin does wonders for one's relaxation and getaway enjoyment!! Thank you, Tammie and Danny!! <3 Misty and Ellie Rose Alfonso
We had a wonderful visit. The property is peaceful and so beautiful. The cabin was very cozy. The cherry cobbler was the best I have ever had! Will definitely stay here again.
The cabin fit our needs perfectly, one room for my wife and I and one for our adult daughter. And since we travel with a pet, this was perfect for her as well. Tammie and Danny are very friendly, informative, and helpful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The grounds of the property are very relaxing. Others have written about the home-made cobbler, it is all true. A delicious treat after a long day of sight-seeing really hit the spot! And just before we left, we were given a tour of the mansion...a must for anyone even just a little interested in the history of the area. All in all, a very positive experience and we would highly recommend.
This place had the feel of an old-school B&B--the owners were super-friendly (without being invasive) and made us some amazing cobbler! Accommodations were comfortable and had plenty of privacy. Also, the grounds are beautiful. My wife, daughters, dog and I all enjoyed it very much.
Beautiful, pet-friendly property. Very clean and well-appointed. Tammie & Danny are excellent hosts, very hospitable and super-friendly. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay. Toby (woof!) sends tail wags :)
We enjoyed everything about our stay at Spring Haven! The log cabin was the real deal! The location was ideal and the cobbler was as good as everyone claimed!
Our hosts, Tammie and Danny, we're very nice and helpful to make our two night stay as pleasant as possible. This historic cabin was very cool. Two bedrooms, two private bathrooms and a cozy living room. I only wish we could have spent more time there.
Tammie and Danny, the owners, were most welcoming and hospitable. Their gracious Southern hospitality delighted us and they served us a delicious chocolate cherry cobbler on their beautiful screened in porch. The 200+ year old cabin we stayed in is full on history and located adjacent from their Spring Haven mansion. The property is stunning and the creek running through is magical. Great stay! Thank you.
We stayed several days and the hosts Tammie and Daniel explained everything and provided tips and information of the surrounding area. And the cobbler is excellent!
Tammie and Danny are so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the history and beauty of the property! The cobbler was out of this world delicious. We WILL be back!
I cannot imagine a more idyllic setting or more hospitable hosts! Tammy and Danny were so welcoming and accommodating. From the warm conversation to the delicious cobbler, we loved every minute of our stay!
Tammie and Danny are true Southern hosts who easily but not effortlessly exceed Middle Tennessee's well earned reputation as a mecca of hospitality. Their property, an antebellum home, guest house and other charming outbuildings bordering a delightful spring fed creek provided a much appreciated dose of tranquil thereby during our too brief stay. I'm a knoxville septuagenarian and my lady friend lives in Memphis, so we were just looking for a quiet place to meet and catch up with each other. But we hit the mother lode and recharged our low batteries sitting by the creek, playing yard games, swimming on the tree swing, and touring the beautifully restored historic home. It was so much more than we expected, including the Dutch oven peach cobbler, that we're already talking about a return trip.
This hidden gem was more than we were expecting. This may be my overall favorite rental we've stayed at. The hosts, the cobbler, the location, and the quaint 1800's cabin exceeded our expectations. We will be back. Tammie and Danny are friends forever.
We had just married in Florida and was stopping through Tennessee and found this gem at the last minute. It was exactly what we were wanting. As we arrived Tammy & Danny greeted us and showed us the home and shared the history of the property. Tammy went above and beyond and helped us with maps of the area and the last night Danny had made us Dutch oven cherry cobbler. It was so delicious. He also showed us the lower part of mansion they rent for weddings and showed us another room they rent for stays as well. We defiantly will be returning again.
What a lucky find! Our family travels a lot & THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME. The history, the character, the well groomed grounds & the hosts were exceptional! To be able to escape the noise of the city and rest in the quiet of this beautiful estate was just what we needed while visiting Nashville and we know we are blessed to have met these fine folks; their hospitality went above and beyond our expectations - such sweet souls. We Highly Recommend!!!

Tammie and Danny the property owners are super nice and welcoming. We definitely enjoyed our getaway. The cobbler that danny made was awesome and serviced by the fire was a very nice touch. Highly recommend
It was a charming cabin, loved the 3 fireplaces, secluded but minutes away from restaurants and shoppi
Our daughter-in-law loves classic country ,so we were minutes away from where several country music singers were layed to rest, our host were very helpful, the carmel apple cobbler was delicious, was a weekend to remember
Danny/Tammie are absolutely amazing and have great hospitality. This is my first stay ever using this app and I booked it last minute. My friend and I did a cross country road trip and winging the whole experience from California back to Philadelphia. We drove 10 hours to get to this cabin and Danny was waiting for us, He gave us a mini history lesson behind it too which was incredible and peach cobbler he made fresh was waiting for us with vanilla ice cream. I will definitely be back in the warmer weather (looking at April) Thank You Again, Elizabeth!
Very nice place. We were greeted by a beautiful and gracious host. The tour of the property was very interesting and educational. Pralines were delicious. In the middle of town but didn’t feel like it. A gem tucked away! Would highly recommend.
