The Neighborhood:
Up-and-coming Wedgewood-Houston is a buzzing art hub, with former factories converted into art spaces and studios. Crowds fill galleries during the monthly “Art Crawl,” relax at cocktail bars or sample drinks in craft distilleries. The restored Fort Negley, a remnant of the Civil War, is surrounded by trees and paths, while the flea market at nearby Nashville Fairgrounds is packed with antiques and bric-a-brac. The newly build soccer stadium Geodis Park is also connected to the fairgrounds.

Getting Around:
Walking, biking, scooter rentals, ubers and lyfts are all great ways to navigate the area.

Cleanliness was an issue
We got to check in early so that was a plus . There were cleaning issues and when I communicated this with property manager the day we left he didn’t care basically. The neighborhood was sketchy and it was way farther to broadway than the listing stated . Would never stay here again .

A place to lay your head
As most reviews state, a basic place to lay your head. Its one room and a bathroom, so more a studio. Note that checkin information will be sent via a separate email and not through VRBO. My VRBO message to the host requesting early check in and late check out went ignored, but when I reached out via the email regarding the dirty sheets/pillow cases was responded to in VRBO offering for the cleaners to come for us to show. We chose to remake the bed using the linens for the blow up mattress and not be additionally inconveniencd. The mattress takes up the whole closet, so dont plan to put clothing away, theres no spot. The kitchen drawer missing a knob was super sticky so there was no way to open it. Overall, cute setup. Kitchen is handy, nice to have a "separate " couch/hangout area. Bed is for sleeping, no nightstands even. Water pressure and heat is very nice. Once you find checkin information, easy check-in and out. Super conveniently located. Just know its definitely not for a longer stay as there's nowhere to unpack and dont look too closely for cleanliness.

Short stay for awesome concert
We just needed a single night following a concert at Bridgestone Arena. Knowing that the concert would be getting out late and having a two hour drive home. I looked for a reasonably priced nice close location. I was pleased to find all three with this booking. It was perfect for my wife and I. Thank you so much!
