Desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is very run down and could use a major overhaul. Would not recommend staying there.
The room that we reserved was for two doubles in a non-smoking room. What they gave us was a smoking room with cigarettes burns in the comforter and a broken moldy bed! It was disgusting! When we asked for a new room, they put us in a 1 king bed room for 3 adults. It was awful. Zero stars.
I am reluctant to post this, but I will anyway. The staff were amazing in responding to problems we had. Both the TV & hot tub weren’t working, but a maintenance man quickly to address the issues. The toilet in Bathroom barely flushed. & All the electrical outlets were “loose” I wan unable to charge my phone cause the charge was barely able to stay plugged in. Overall, I would not be returning , & staying downtown at more modern, operational rooms.
I called after I checked in because the TV wasn't working at all. The front desk said it would be taken care of shortly. That never happened. The frig leaked all night and I stepped into a puddle in my socks. I told them at checkout but it was the same girl from the night before. She said the manager said to call in a few days. This is the worst experience ever!!!
Dirty, dilapidated building with exposed wires, torn up drywall, graffiti and mold on the walls, cockeyed bed bug riddled beds and mattresses. Do not try to stay here.
The rooms are okay the king bed room is very nice. I was told two different prices on the phone and in person i think the communication between staff should be a little better. Everything was perfect other than that
The staff was friendly, we had a decent room for what we paid. The motel is located in a unsafe area. Had we known that we wouldn't of booked a room. We got woke up twice at 2 in the
morning by someone calling our room. The people staying in the room next to us were fighting into the early morning. It definitely is a cool motel with alot of history but it needs alot of work and wish the neighborhood was safe.
Already reviewed this but since Wotif keeps bugging to do again I'll reiterate, it was a great comfortable place to stay. Sure the floors and other areas could do with a good deep clean then maybe a coat of paint on the walls, but hey they'd then be able to charge more so was glad they didn't as otherwise with no backpacker hostels in Nashville I wouldn't have had anywhere this good to stay. Also on the airport to central bus route.
Will NEVER stay here again. Felt unsafe, terrible neighborhood to be in,the staff however were froendly. Tv didn't work. A lot of homeless people there and justblocks away from the projects.
It's a quirky old motel but you can tell they have been updating the rooms. All the staff was really friendly and helpful and right on the bus line to get downtown so worked really well.
Its an older style facility, so keep that in mind when you visit.
The facility was quiet. Traffic on the main road could be noisy though.
Coin-operated Laundry facilities onsite which is handy.
Staff were nice & it was well priced.
This is a safe, budget friendly motel with great staff. Never had an issue on site or in the area and everything was a quick five/ten minute ride share away. Considering parking anywhere in the city is forty dollars, it saved a lot of money being able to park at the Drake.
