With the idyllic countryside as its backdrop, the Opal House offers serenity & acres of privacy to large groups of family, friends or co-workers! Sparing no expense or amenity, the inn is able to comfortably accommodate 22 (maximum) guests- delivering Southern Hospitality on a stylish gold plate.
Appointed with attractive furnishings, the home tells a relaxing story- mixing feminine vintage with uniquely-curated traditional elements. This interior design seeks to connect with the outside and be eco-friendly. So, organic color-palettes fill the rooms- soothing blues, millennial-mauves, and tons of greenery. Each room is whimsical, and every gathering place in the home is purposed for the guest’s connections and leisure.

Guest Access
Guests will have the full-run of the entire home. You will not be sharing it with anyone and you will have access to everything in the home. There is a smaller guest house on the property, where the hosts reside. If any catering is ordered any meal prep will be done in this smaller home and delivered to your doorstep!
Early/Late Check-ins: We can rarely accommodate early/late check-in/out, as we need time to clean the home prior to each guest's arrival. The cleaning crew will need to get started promptly at 11 AM, so please schedule your departure before then.
We use key-less entry with a unique code generated for your stay. The code will be provided via email or text about a week before your stay. We use a camera system outside on the front porch area, this system will be active during your stay.

The house is amazing - everyone in our group loved it. It is well-stocked, comfortable, spacious, and beautifully-decorated. Debi is super easy to work with. Opal House Perfection
Our group came down for a baseball tournament, The Greater Midwest Baseball World series. It was hot so having the pool was amazing for the kids. Even had the entire team and families over for a cookout with some Hattie B’s chicken. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Debi and Brad were fantastic hosts!

There were 19 women that stayed on the property and it was absolutely wonderful. The house was better then we could have imagined. There was more than enough space for all of us. Debi was a wonderful host and even catered a breakfast which was amazing. I would highly recommend the Opal House to anyone looking to go to the Nashville area.

We loved everything about this property! My friends and I found ourselves saying "they've thought of everything" on a daily basis. Beautiful home with plenty of room for a large gathering (we were 17). Comfortable beyond our dreams. Honestly, I can't think of anything but positive things to say. Book it and have a ball!

What a property! So many beds and bathrooms! The pool is great. We appreciated the welcome with cookies, the helpful notes around the house, the shampoo and body wash in the showers, a well stocked kitchen (spices and tools) , and great service. A storm went through while we were downtown and the power went out. They had a generator going before we returned. Very impressed.

Staying at Opal house is like being in Paradise
Upon arrival, Debi, the hostess left incredible cookies for us to enjoy. The house is decorated in a beautifully eclectic manner, with special touches everywhere.. We were visiting from Santa Barbara, California, for the week of my daughters wedding, and the house very comfortably accommodated, her bridesmaids and our immediate family. I can’t say enough about the beautiful decor, and the accommodations made by our hostess. There’s a beautiful yard with wild deer traveling through. The pool and spa area are very open and beautiful. Whether you’re considering Opal house for your family trip or a festive getaway, you will not be disappointed! I hope to be able to visit again in the future!

Beyond amazing
We traveled to Nashville area for a trip with family and friends to celebrate an anniversary, engagement, birthdays and retirement. We wanted to stay close to, but not right in the city. We were so happy we did! The city is great but this house was amazing! The number of beds and baths, the huge kitchen and dining area, the outdoor deck area with multiple tables and chairs and especially the amazing pool and hot tub made our time so enjoyable. Debi is a super awesome host and was available to answer all our questions immediately. I would love to visit again and would choose this property every time!

You won't find a better home to rent.
The old adage "you get what you pay for" is almost always true. In this case, it felt like we got more than we paid for. From the moment we walked through the door we were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the home and the thoughtfulness of the owners. We were greeted with a plate of some of the best cookies we've ever had. The home was impeccably clean and eclectically beautiful. There is plenty of space for large groups to eat, be entertained, and to spread out and not feel on top of one another. The pool, hot tub, and backyard are well maintained and there's plenty of comfortable seating and shade. There are also tons of great pool toys, a huge propane grill, and a herd of deer that hangout all over the property. The location of the home is nicely secluded but close to town. The kitchen is maybe the best stocked kitchen out of the 40 or so rentals we've stayed at over the last 15 years. There are plenty of dishes, plenty of coffee, plenty of seasonings, two fridges, two coffee makers, and ample amounts of anything else you may need like towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets throughout the house. You will not find a better rental experience and I would gladly stay here again. 5 stars across the board!

Best house ever
we had 20 ladies, and our original place got cancelled on Mon due to HVAC leak - was able to find this and so glad we did. It was perfect, in every way! Owners live in the in carriage house on the property. Felt 100% safe, great neighborhood. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our family gives this VRBO 5 stars all the way!!! Each family had their own space to settle into, including bedrooms and bathrooms. Shared space was very spacious for all to enjoy together. Kitchen was equipped with dishes and cookwares.outdoor space was amazing. Beautiful pool, hot tub, sitting and eating areas. Our famed enjoyed it all. Hosts were great to work with. Same Cowboy Forever Bachelorette
The Opal House was absolutely perfect in every way ! Beautiful quiet and peaceful neighborhood with wildlife. The home itself is stunning . Gorgeous bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms and showers for the sixteen of us. The outdoor deck and pool area with the hot tub is the perfect place to gather and enjoy a hot summer day . Literally everything about this house is amazing. The host is so gracious and I highly recommend the catering option . Debi is an excellent cook. Both the dinner and brunch were delicious. There were also yummy homemade cookies on our arrival . Thank you Debi and Brad for the perfect home to celebrate my daughter’s bachelorette. A beautiful space for any group!
This property is beautiful inside and out. The inside is carefully curated with beautiful, unique pieces. Every space is different with its own beauty. I felt like I was in a boutique hotel or B&B! The hosts are WONDERFUL! Turns out Debi is a wonderful caterer as well so you have that bonus option. Power went out briefly during our stay - no worries, because they have a backup generator! Everything you need is there for the kitchen, pool, etc. - no need to overpack! My guests and I loved this experience and would definitely recommend to anyone!
