Great Property. Lacks Management
The Soma Vine Village has excellent infrastructure and has some very good people working on the property but what it lacks is good management. Pros: Rooms are very good. We had 4 executive rooms and 1 Deluxe room. The front desk was very friendly and was kind to accommodate our requests. The wine tasting was fun and we got to know a lot about wine. Would strongly recommend it to all. Cons: The restaurant has only two people to serve 12 tables. While there were few people in the afternoon when we had lunch, the evening was mayhem. Even more disappointing was he did not serve us the Chenin Blanc Gold saying he was out of stock. When we reminded him that we are at the place it was being produced and we had it in the other restaurant the previous evening, he still declined. Each morning, all five of our rooms had to call the front desk to remind them that there was no hot water in the bathroom. Can this be corrected ?
