You might find something that looks similar and is a few dollars cheaper but I didn’t even go hunting once I found that Jay Suites had an elevator, powerful AC with a simple on-off controller, a good bed, excellent shower with unlimited hot water, an in-room fridge with 2 free 1 litre bottles of water daily, and a better than average breakfast for about $5. The staff were exceptionally friendly and dealt with one minor plumbing issue quickly and efficiently. If you’re staying in Thamel, it would be tough to beat this place for the price."
