Great location. Sweet small (3room) guest house with traditional tatame rooms. Halfway between the train station amd the main attractions. Would definitely stay there again.

Cute little spot centrally located. Fella on the front desk was lovely and eager to help us organize our outings (also spoke English very well) Place was very clean. Room was very small, not unusual for Japan though. We were able to rent bicycles from the hotel which was a must to pack in all Nara has to offer. A bit hard to find, but nice to be on a quiet area. Would stay here again.

The owner asked us when we would arrive the hotel. although We arrived earlier, the owner greeted with us with welcome and let us leave the luggage in the hotel. When we came back from the sightseeing, in the evening.The room was ready. The hotel is near the downtown. It takes only less than 10 minutes by walk to JR Nara or Kintetsu Nara station. 老闆先詢問我們什麌時候會到旅通雖然我們早到了老闆也埈熱烈的歡迎我們 晚䞊回到旅通的時候 房間已準備奜了旅通的地點接近奈良垂 的䞭心亀通埈方䟿離JR奈良垂車站或近鐵奈良垂車站走路䞍到十分鐘

Fantastic little guesthouse
A great little guesthouse just off the main road. The guy at the front desk was super friendly and helpful when we needed anything, and upgraded us as we were staying for a few days (longer than most)! Shared kitchenette including a fridge for those who want it and everything was very clean and tidy. Definitely recommended!

Place is a little hard to find. Fantastic service by the owner, super friendly and helpful. rooms are very new, clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the upstairs guests were very loud walking around late at night, so the walls aren't very thick. Overall, I would recommend this guest house to anyone going to visit Nara.

Great location and price
The owner Jun is very helpful. He showed us where to go to eat and places to go. The guesthouse is very clean and roomy. Jun won't let us take the luggage up and down then stairs and insisted to help. Great host. We walked everywhere and the Nara Park is very close by. I would recommend this place to anyone who wish to visit Nara.

My happy stay
My room is clean and the hotel worker is very helpful with good English. It is in the walk distance to Nara Park with all major attractions there. And also in the walk distance to Nara station. I would recommend Guesthouse to all.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nara
The guesthouse is situated in a perfect location, right by the train station and within walking distance to all the sites we wanted to visit. The room was super clean and quiet with a private bathroom, which was super exciting for us. June was very kind and hospitable with sincere interest in making our stay the best. He had great advice on what we should see and do as well as great recommendations for dining.

Great budget accommodation with prime location
We arrived earlier than scheduled check-in, so left our luggage with the staff when we arrived (which was not that far of a walk from the Nara train station). They even sent us an email prior to the trip with a map of how to get there. When we arrived later, he had already put our stuff in our room and check-in was a breeze. The one downside was that he didn't accept credit card, but we knew that going in. The room was great for 4 people and the private bathroom was perfect. Staff was very helpful in helping us to find restaurants in the area as well. No laundry machines, but we knew that going in as well.

Excellent value
The room was simple and basic but very clean. The linen was crisp and new. As a solo traveller, the room more than met my needs. The manager was lovely and gave me good tips about where to eat and places to visit. I hired a bike at a very reasonable daily rate, which made my sightseeing very fun. I would love to come back.

Nice guesthouse close to JR station
We stayed here 1 night. Jun, the owner, is a very nice guy. It's a small and nice place. Rooms are clean. Good location, about 10 minutes by walk from Nara park. But there's no hot water in the bathroom and no shoes in the room.

Great stay!
It's kind of hidden away on a side street but it's definitely the place to stay in Nara. We loved it! My husband and I had a private room with a private shower and it was awesome! One of my favorite places that we stayed on our whole Japan trip! The location was great, the staff was awesome and the bed was really comfortable! Had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for more! We were even allowed to store our bags there after checkout while we explored Nara.

I had a wonderful 2 nights in Nara, IKI guesthouse location is 2mins from Nara Station. Jun was there to greet us. Gave some good recommendations on where to eat and sightseeing. Very clean as Jun takes pride in his guesthouse. Great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Wonderful hospitality, great location and clean
The host was so kind that stayed till late our late arrival, and had come on the main street to make sure that we find the place. Such a great hospitality. The room was super clean and very comfortable, with a comfortable bathroom. The wifi was fast and easy to access. It's location is close to main attractions of Nara. I absoloutly recommend Guesthouse Iki for a wonderful stay in Nara.

close to all must-see sights
Though this hotel offers very basic amenities, I loved the personal service it offered. The owner was very attentive to us and we felt that he made it his personal objective to make sure we were comfortable. It was a little difficult to find the hotel but we solicited the help of a couple of Nara residents who walked us to it. We will certainly return to this hotel if we ever go back to Nara. Thank you for a great service and your hospitality Iki Guesthouse.

Wonderful, homey experience.
Hard to find, but once found, location is very much appreciated. Very close to all the sights, and excellent restaurants. Rooms are sparse, and although one cannot complain since everything is very good, I feel it's a little overpriced for what it is.
