This is a very safe area, full of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
We are right next to the Villa Floridiana, the Certosa San Martino Museum, which preserves among other exposure Neapolitan Crèche eighteenth century, the splendid staircase called 'Pedamentina' World Heritage of UNESCO, which is the way the longest pedestrian and old from the city: 414 steps that connect the Certosa di San Martino with the Spaccanapoli area in the heart of the city; the house is very close to the Diana theater. You can take long walks and shopping in the pedestrian streets of via Scarlatti via e Luca Giordano.
The Vomero district is well served by Metro and the three funiculars located 5-10 min walk. The most beautiful in Europe metro station is easily accessible and the Central Station (Stazione Centrale Garibaldi) is a 15 minute ride.
With the Central Funicular, you can easily reach, and after a short walk, the port 'Molo Beverello', from where shuttle boats depart (hydrofoils and traghetti) to the islands, Ischia, Procida and Capri.
