'Casetta-Belvedere "is part of a residence of the seventeenth century listed in the Vomero neighborhood in Naples. Away from the noise, independent entrance and beautiful sea view, it is close to the subway and funiculars.
A small house very well equipped and comfortable, which sleeps two, or even three people using the sofa bed in the lounge. At the heart of vomero neighborhood and at the same time away from the noise of the city, its position will guarantee peace and quiet to relax in a private residence, the oldest and charming neighborhood vomero, with stunning sea views . Guests will marvel at this enchanted place where they can move easily to visit the city.
It consists of a bedroom with double bed and a terrace with beautiful sea views, ideal for romantic dinners and breakfasts. There is also a small living room with sofa bed (for two) and a balcony, kitchenette, two bathrooms-suite bathroom with shower. The kitchen is available for guests.

This is a very safe area, full of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
We are right next to the Villa Floridiana, the Certosa San Martino Museum, which preserves among other exposure Neapolitan Crèche eighteenth century, the splendid staircase called 'Pedamentina' World Heritage of UNESCO, which is the way the longest pedestrian and old from the city: 414 steps that connect the Certosa di San Martino with the Spaccanapoli area in the heart of the city; the house is very close to the Diana theater. You can take long walks and shopping in the pedestrian streets of via Scarlatti via e Luca Giordano.
The Vomero district is well served by Metro and the three funiculars located 5-10 min walk. The most beautiful in Europe metro station is easily accessible and the Central Station (Stazione Centrale Garibaldi) is a 15 minute ride.
With the Central Funicular, you can easily reach, and after a short walk, the port 'Molo Beverello', from where shuttle boats depart (hydrofoils and traghetti) to the islands, Ischia, Procida and Capri.
The house is easily accessible by car (output device 'tangenziale': Vomero) and has a parking space inside the villa with electric gate.
Villa Belvedere was the residence of Princes Carafa Belvedere; at the time of famous people such as c Bourbon King Ferdinand and Queen Marie Caroline, for the birth of his daughter Princess Elizabeth stayed there; and in 1813 Joachim Murat, who was at that time the King of Naples. There are still many frescoes and paintings by Luca Giordano and his pupils kept in the villa.

A month in Naples
I cannot say enough good things about this property. I will recommend it to all my friends. The neighbourhood of Vomero was lovely. Lively, interesting, safe, and contained everything you would need. It is a short ride on the funicular from downtown. Some places, especially from the castle provided the most breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples. Our host was extremely helpful and welcoming. The apartment was well outfitted and very quiet!

Lovely apartment with amazing viewd
Veronique was the perfect host welcoming us personally after having arranged our transfer from the airport (an excellent and good value limo service). The apartment is in a beautiful Old house with amazing views over the bay of Naples. The area is a mix of residential and shops/ restaurants and a great choice for any length of visit. The apartment is not large but has everything one might want (very large or infirm people might struggle on the stairs in the apartment but it should be fine for most people). Well equipped kitchen. Small sitting room, two bathrooms with showers, and a very comfortable bedroom with a private terrace. The value for money was fantastic. We were unlucky with the weather but metro and funicular links to everywhere are reasonably close.

This is a gem. Property perfect for a couple... Everything you need re equipment and the pictures do not do justice to the view from the balcony. The neighbourhood is great, quiet and leafy but close to great bars and restaurants and easy transport to Naples centre. Veronique was a lovely host , generous and welcoming. Really can't recommend enough.

This flat works fine for a couple, and the tall ceilings give the impression of more space. If the weather is good, the deck off the top-floor bedroom would be a nice place to relax and have a glass of wine while enjoying the ocean view. It's very quiet in the bedroom, and we slept well. It's nice to have a bathroom on both floors of the flat too. The kitchen works great, and it's just large enough to prepare simple dishes. The flat is very clean too. We just parked the car after arrival in the space we reserved with the host, Veronique, and used the funiculars and metro to get around town. Vomero is a nice neighborhood and has pedestrian-only roads on some streets for strolling and watching the world go by. Our communications with Veronique were great, and driving to the flat was a challenge even with Google Maps running on the mobile. If driving, Via Aniello Falcone is a one-way street, and finding #56 is tough to find on the wall. A better landmark is the illuminated small sign on the right side of the street for Suono Libero Music, which is easier to spot. Turn into the passageway immediately to the left of this sign. Go straight about 50 meters, follow the road as it turns right, go straight another 50 meters, and then turn left to drop down about 10 feet and wrap around running in the opposite direction. The flat is straight ahead at the green gate at the end of the lane about 100 meters or so along the alley. Good luck and be prepared to back up so that oncoming cars can get around you. We enjoyed our 5 nights spent at this flat, and would return again in the future. There's a lot to do and see in Naples, and it makes a good starting point for a day-trip to Pompeii too.

A week in Naples
This apartment is really great! It's tucked away next to a larger villa behind security gates. Very private. Although compact it had everything we needed – perfect for two. There is a small kitchen which has all the essentials and a bathroom on each floor. We had a great week in Naples, exploring the city and surroundings and it was always a pleasure to return to Vomero and sit on the apartment balcony with a sundowner looking down to the bay of Naples. Vomero is lively and has many bars and places to eat. Gorizia is a great place (about a ten minute walk) and Garage (just opened) has fantastic food. Everywhere seemed to have fantastic pizzas! You are also near to the Metro that connects to the historic centre and three funiculars than take you down below... Veronique, the apartment host was really welcoming and arranged for a taxi to collect us at the airport, as well as showing the Villa's beautiful terrace overlooking the bay of Naples. The apartment is also beautifully furnished – simple but stylish.

Charming apartment
Thanks to Veronique who is as charming and lovely as her apartment! Her apartment is thoughtfully and stylishly furnished and is in a quiet, safe and welcoming location with stunning views of the chaotic excitement of Napoli centre. We visited the lesser-known Herculaneum as an alternative to Pompeii and similarly enjoyed the island of Procida instead of Capri - so many options, too little time!! We felt at home wandering the vibrant, ancient streets in Veronique’s local neighbourhood - she will point you in the right direction of many fascinating places to visit. If you want an authentic taste of Italy don’t hesitate to visit Casetta Belvedere - also a thanks to Salvatore who transferred us to and from the airport as recommended by Veronique, his English is very cute to listen to! This was without a doubt the best vrbo we have ever stayed in. Veronique is a sweetheart and so helpful. Her restaurant and tourist information was right on every time. The place is perfectly equipped, located and scenic. The pictures don’t do it justice. We truly didn’t want to leave.

Perfectly located comfortable property
We spent two weeks in this little house in Vomero. For us it was perfect in every way. Clean and comfortable with a great view and located close to a choice of public transport into the frenetic centre of Naples and beyond. It was great to be able to return to peace and quiet after a day sightseeing. We found it easy to shop locally for whatever we required and the kitchen is well equipped for all forms of cooking. Veronique is the perfect host and we were extremely grateful for her help when one of us was taken ill during our stay. We loved Naples and our visits to Herculaneum ,Procida and Pozzuoli. Staying at this property really enabled us to make the most of our time there. We would highly recommend it to any one.

The owner was amazing to work with and her property was equally impressive. We had all of the conveniences at our fingertips including metro service. Location was perfect. Vomero district is very nice and great for evening walks and dinners. For old Napoli, a convenient funicular is only a 10 minute walk away. No need for a car at all after check in. Owner Véronique is very responsive and nice. After meeting her, I can tell she cares that the people who rent her Property are satisfied and happy.

Beautiful, quiet, dreamlike!
We had the best time staying at Veronique's Casetta Belvedere' property! The place was exactly like the pictures very nice, clean, cute, cozy, but the view on the deck doesn't compare to the pictures. It was just unbelievable!! We couldn't get enough of that view. Our kind and gracious host was very attentive and available to help us with whatever we needed and gave great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. It was really hard to leave because we felt at home and enjoyed every moment! We will recommend this place to all of our friends and family and when we come back to Vomero, Napoli we will definitely be staying at Veronique's place again!!! We could not be more pleased both with the accommodations and the host and her help. They were extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and taxi orders. Also Veronique allowed us to arrive early at 8 AM the day of our arrival. The apartment is a gem with fine amenities and beautiful views. Veronique and her helper Rosita were always very accommodating. It was in a great neighborhood away from downtown but easy 20 mins by Metro. I could not recommend more highly. Thanks Veronique.

a perfectly quiet romantic place
the moment veronique opened the door of casetta belivdere, i knew i'd made the perfect choice for my two week stay in naples. the view of the gulf of naples and surrounding gardens from the cozy and private terrace is breathtaking--in any weather and at any time of day. we had our breakfast many days on this sun-bathed terrace, which you enter from the spacious and comfortable bedroom with nice bath. the stairway leading upstairs is a lovely way to come upon this view. on the main floor, there is a living room with a cozy loveseat and another bathroom. the efficient little kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and there is a view of the gulf from the window there, so you can watch ships and sailboats in the distance as you cook. the casetta is steps away from little markets and shops where we could find everything we needed without going to a supermarket, though those are close by as well. then, via scarlatti, the grand pedestrian street of vomero is nearby, where you'll find shops, coffee bars and good places to eat. the metro and funicolare are within walking distance as well, so you can have your fill of busy central naples and then return to this restful and quiet retreat when you're ready to. we cannot say enough good things about our kind and gracious hosts who live steps away. (on a personal note: i absent-mindedly left a backpack containing a laptop in the taxi from the airport. enzo and veronique spent the better part of their saturday afternoon trying to locate the taxi, which they finally did, and i had my pack back within hours. while i waited anxiously, veronique insisted i stay for a delicious supper!) all in all, a memorable place to stay and truly experience life in naples.

Wonderful visit to Naples
My wife and I stayed here for 5 days as part of a 16 day trip to Italy. This is a beautiful home, feels historic, very clean and well maintained. Veronique was a pleasure to work with and very attentive to our stay. We walked, metro'd, and funicular-ed our way around Naples. I can highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to spend time in Naples. Everything we needed to feel at home was available in the villa when we arrived. We walked to the seaside (funicular) and to museums, parks, catacombs, and restaurants. The Vomero is a great area for restaurants and shopping. All needed amenities are within a few blocks. We would definitely stay here again, beautiful and romantic patio. Thank you Veronique.

A lovely and peaceful delight above the fray in Naples
Ah, Veronique! You and your lovely apartment are both wonderful! Thank you so much for offering such an exquisite apartment and for all your kindnesses. My husband and I spent 10 nights in this lovely apartment in the Vormero district above the fray yet close to public transportation, in Naples. We were in Italy for 5 weeks and sitting on the terrace outside the bedroom, having a glass of wine while overlooking the Bay of Naples stands out as one of our best experiences in Italy. We cannot say enough good things about the apartment and about Veronique. The views were superb both from the kitchen and from the terrace. Downstairs, the kitchen was a good size and the living/dining area worked well. There is also a bathroom downstairs complete with shower, toilet and bidet, and a washing machine along with a small balcony where you can catch the breezes and hang out your laundry (one warning: be careful not to drop your laundry when hanging it as I did). Upstairs, there is a very comfortable queen size bed, another bathroom with shower and toilet. The French doors open to the wonderful terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples. The breezes were refreshing and the air was clear and cooler than the busy city below. Veronique is a charming and gracious host. She brought us a delicious homemade apple cake and actually picked us up from the airport as it was on her way home! She could not have been more kind or helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Quiet, charming and comfortable. We could not have asked for anything more.

My new favourite getaway!
Veronique was amazing! The flat was PERFECTION. I WISH I LIVED HERE! The views to the Gulf of Naples was so beautiful. This flat was by far, the quietest flat I've ever stayed in, and I stay in VRBO flats often. It was so unbelievably peaceful, I felt I was in a world of my own. A short walk to the funiculars and the Linea 1 kept me well connected with the lower city and the shopping nearby was so convenient! She was so kind to ensure that I had enough coffee for my first morning and even checked on me during my stay to ensure that everything was well! That was kind. Thank you for making Napoli one of my new favourite cities! I will be back!

Merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. La maison est très agréable ,confortable et décorée avec goût . Le quartier est à la fois tranquille et vivant. ( très facile d'accès avec le funiculaire, les bus et le métro ) Vue sur la mer, terrasse, à l'écart des bruits de la ville pour des nuits tranquilles. Tolle Unterkunft in Neapel
Wir waren eine Woche in dieser schönen Wohnung auf dem Vomero über Neapel. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, wir hatten alles was wir benötigten. Es gibt sogar den Luxus zweier Bäder!! Vor allem der Parkplatz ist Gold wert. Wir haben in der Zeit das Auto nicht bewegt. Warum auch, mit der Metro oder der Funcolare kamen wir wunderbar runter und auch wieder rauf. Der Balkon bot beim Apero einen wunderschönen Blick über die Bucht von Neapel. Véronique ist eine tolle Gastgeberin - vielen Dank.
