The sign was so small for this hotel we walked past it a few times. Then it took us a least a half hour to get inside because no one would answer our buzzer call. Room was nice but the entry, hallways and elevater were sketchy.

We arrived in Napoli by high speed train from Rome and then chose to move by metro from the central station (Garibaldi) to save us from those weirdly high taxi costs, so we were already happy with the fact the place was so well located. But, it quickly turned to a nightmare trying to find the place. Turns out, in Napoli, there are small doors cut inside larger doors for many buildings, for which you need a key to unlock. We tried many things while cooking under the scorching sun for 30 minutes, and finally we were let in by someone else who was entering the building. There is some kind of desk in the "lobby" but it's for the building and we never saw anyone at it. We then took the elevator, but not all levels were accessible from it so we climbed at the last floor and decided to get down with the stairs inspecting every level for a sign of the B&B with our heavy luggages through a dark, hot and humid stairwell. Finally, after reaching the 3rd level, we finally saw the door of the B&B. We knocked on the door and were greeted by the cleaning crew, telling us someone would come to check us in. Finally a kind woman came and explained everything, with the fact we have to take the second elevator to get to the 3rd floor, to then open the B&B door to access our room. The room was super clean but the mattress was the worst we ever slept on. Otherwise location is wonderful, but the noise (from the inside and outside) is absolutely insane. Impossible to sleep without earplugs.

Very poor place. Not even a hotel as there is no lobby or reception. Elevator was out of service for the whole time even though we were told on day one that it would be fixed the next day. We had a stroller that we had to hand lift ourselves to the third floor every day… horrible experience…. Towels were not changed during the stay… Very good location though. Everything was closeby.

Nice room, with a bright air conditioner
When we checked in, we found out that the hotel was actually called Hotel Self, which was kind of confusing. The room was nice and clean and surprisingly quiet. We had a balcony facing the street but the door to the balcony was really thick and kept noise from the street out surprisingly well. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was really bright and it made it hard for us to sleep.

The staff here are simply amazing! We were greeted warmly and with a great amount of respect. Hiliaria (i'm sorry if I spelled it wrong) went out of her way to give a summary of attractions / restaurants / shopping that was all nearby. The location puts you close to all the action and the rooms are spacious and clean. The cleaning staff is top-notch, and the breakfast provided tasty. We felt well looked after, and our stay in Naples was much more enjoyable because of our stay here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Scary Hallway, but beautiful B&B
The B&B was gorgeous and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the street. The breakfast did not provide a hot breakfast, just coffee,cereals, muffins, cheese, ham, etc. (no eggs). I did not enjoy the hallway, stairs, and elevator leading to the B&B, it caused my husband and I to be nervous. The elevator and stairs all felt unsafe as it was darkly lit and unhygienic. Once we reached the B&B we were shocked at how nice it was. Besides the hallway everything was good! Staff was very sweet!

ONE Star. The check-in was nonexistent; they didn’t answer the intercom or answer their phone. The B&B was almost impossible to find and the entrance and lower levels are horrible. And once we contacted them they turned us away due to overbooking even know we had a confirmed reservation through Expedia and our travel agent. Only plusses: inside up on the third floor the facility itself looks nice. And they did arrange for a paid accommodation at a nearby hotel which was much nicer anyway.

This hotel is great! Perfect location if you’re going to stay in Naples. 8€ taxi ride from the train station and 10-15 mins walk to the ferry port. The staff was amazing the room was perfect. The breakfast was good. Overall if I ever stay in Naples I would definitely stay here again.
